Getting ready for late cash game with @v1pe

In for $40 out for a chop and far heavy chip leader with $200 prize.

Terrible game. They would fold by putting a chip on their cards so they could keep them during the hand. Weirdest snd frustrating shit.

You are lucky guys to have a home game and friends to play with. So much fun.

I agree. Most of the people in my home game would never have met if it wasn't for poker. I'm grateful for this.

If you're on the lookout for a local home game, stop by any bar tournaments or small stakes casino tourneys. Usually there'll be chat of home games and if you fit the hosts description of a welcome player, they may invite you. note: your behavior in the bar tourney/casino tourney will be like your job interview for a home game.

Sounds stupid. I never allow that shit at any of our games. I had two randoms doing that and even running the turn and river after someone would cause everyone else to fold after the flop. Plus they were whispering to one another what they had and showing their cards etc. Such poor table etiquette. Took their money and won’t be inviting em in future.

"We don't do card protectors here."

Three guys out of 7 players with chips on their cards.

I had to keep removing my chips from them When I had Kings or Aces.
So dumb.

Big end-of-year tournament Saturday night. Prime rib by the host, sides by the membership....

Lots of desserts as well, but only got a photo of the cupcakes, because Zombies love braiiiins...

19 players, boiled down to the final table...

@AK Chip , note the large numbers of T500s

$700+ in the pot. First place, $399, and a bracelet. Not a bad night for a $30 buy-in...

Came down to all-in and a snap call between a player that has never won (except on ladies night) with KK and the most winningest player in the league, holding AK. Stacks were close to equal. Of course you know how these things always go down...

@Ben wins his 13th event, his first bracelet, and his 3rd Player of the Year title. On top of all that, the membership elected him to the Hall of Fame (to be inducted in March). A very good year, indeed!

Special thanks to @Mrs Poker Zombie for dealing after busting on the bubble, and @Jonesey07 for dedicated shuffling.

I like the bracelet. Where do you get that done?

BTW that last pic is great. The disappointment on 2nd places face is still palpable. Not reveling in it it’s just great when people care.

Reminderband.com

They have a minimum order of 1, and depending on options, is in the ballpark of $10.
