The fact that yours is set for 300, makes me think my 230 setting is way too low....
300 all the way.
I set mine too low last time I used it.

Got asked last night to bring it to a neighbors house to feed all the kids prior to all of us taking them out trick or treating. What was originally a "stupid" purchase, is now getting more attendance requests than I am.

Just last tourney used two frozen and thawed packs. They were as good as they always are. Also, I always use the potato rolls.

Roller owners - any recommendations on cover vs no cover? Those with the glass covered models, dows the the glass get really splattered? I'll be putting mine on a bar top, if these splatter I'm thinking I'd rather clean the glass then the bar backsplash.

Mine is uncovered and I have had no issues with splattering.

No issues with splattering either. But I would say this is highly dependent on the temperature and dogs you cook. We mostly run Johnsonville 100% pork links which are already cooked so the roller is set to 250/275 to heat rather than cook. If you're running raw dogs with natural casing then the chance of splatter is probably higher.

No sausages, but I have done the Costco chicken taquitos. Turned out great!
I am having my family over on Christmas morning for brunch. Obvious bacon is #1 priority but since the roller works so well I am considering throwing a bunch of sausages on it and let it do it’s thing while I fry bacon.
