Not Mine Kems Cheap on Amazon (1 Viewer)

Interesting... the price is definitely not the lowest in 20 years, but it's still down to half what it was a little over a year ago.

Interesting....on the price and the tracking technology. I never saw them at $16 but I wasn’t really looking in 2009. In the early 2000s they seemed to be around $20 I thought. Copags were much cheaper...maybe $12???

Look like Guild Cards to me.

Any difference in the stock/texture?

Completely different. They are cellulose acetate and have a very soft feel. Guild kinda of ripped off Kems Arrow back design. The closest things to Kems in feel are Cartamundi Acetate in the green box

Thanks. Thought they might be the same cards under a different name.

Cartamundi Acetate still fall below KEM?

In feel? Yes in my opinion. Just understand that acetate cards always have the risk of warping if exposed to humidity and temp changes. My Cartamundi Acetetes took a slight bow so I started storing them like I do my Kems and they went back to flat. Once Kems take a bow they most likely won’t come back.

Of the several setups of Kems I’ve had only one totally warped. I did have some used casino Kems that came warped. By warped I mean severely bowed beyond the ability to use them.

Most of the time it’s just a slight bow. Bear in mind other brands will do this as well. Kem just gets the most attention because some have completely warped. IMO they are not as bad as people make them out to be but I dont take chances and store them under compression.
