I have my quarters and ones. Now I need to figure what to do for my fives. Asn't suggestions?

Its going too be challenging finding the right five that works well with these two chips.

Dunes comes to mind?

How did the golden eagles clash with the Foxwoods? Was it just the red base color clashing with the burgundy spot on the Foxwoods?
Just asking to see if we should bother suggesting red fives.

dirty stacks. The color and size of the edge spots were the problem

I think you will hate this suggestion, but I’ll make it anyway (given it will be less damaging to the budget).

Get some of the stardust t100s, remove the inlay and go for a gear laminated $5 label, as per my pic below. I think these were going for around $115 a rack.

My only other thought would be empress $5s.

Thanks, but I want to try and avoid using labels.

I've been browsing some five dollar chips. I stole a few images from different members on the forum. I know some of these are "live" chips and aren't options for me. Here are a few that intrigue me.

After talking with Paulo ( @ChaosRock ) I'm not sure the Dunes would work. Looks like I might have the same problem with them as I did the Golden Eagles.

I like the yellow and white spots on these ... unfortunately Taj chips tend to be really dirty/nasty

I think the problem with these would be the white spots. I can see the foxwoods blending in too much.

I think these could work

the "aztar $5s" you have posted a few posts above this one are milled and re-inlayed AS T5s - and those pictured are the only chips in existence (afaik). i'm not sure how easily you'd be able to pry them out of the owner's hands but i'm guessing odds are slim to none.

Here's some options. Some of them thinking outside the box.

1. PCA secondary $5s are definitely at the top of my list.

2. Casablanca pink $5s. Are my eyes playing tricks on me, or are these really available in pink. Definitely jumps out.

3. Yellow options. The Casino de Mexico is a yellowish brown with nice edge spots.
4. Relabel option. If you decide to relabel, I would relabel the shit out of the WTHC $1000s.

5. Fantasy options. The Casino de Isthemis is nice!!

I didn't realize that. Thanks

What are your restrictions? Seems you are okay mixing house mold and THC. What about RHC?

I guess I don't understand why the Tonkawa wouldn't work as is.

PCA sec or the Grand Vic's would work well. If you want red I think you'll need something that has smaller edge spot area and a bright enough red to clash with the Foxwoods burgundy color.

I'm trying to go into this with a complete open mind. The thing I care about most is that the chips look good, and work good together. I want to lean away from fantasy chips. However, if the right one came along I would consider it.

I hate the inlay. It would have to be re labeled. If I'm going to re label it. Then I'm going to look at some yellow 1k chips that could also work.

I agree. I've already reached out to a few people.

I don't have to have red. I would actually prefer yellow. I don't think that will be possible. As for the edge spots. I completely agree with you.

Thanks for the post.

GV $5 secondaries, PCA $5s, Paulson Vineyards -- how can you go wrong?

For context and to keep in mind, Foxwoods uses a red $5 themselves and don’t have issues. I think it is more important to stay away from a red chip with white spots like the Golden Eagle. That compounds the issue.

The red Casa $5 with yellow spot and Bourbon Street $5 come to mind as THC options.

I'm sure you already looked at this thread?

Yes sir I did :) I already have a PM to Mikko inquiring about a few of them.

I agree. A red five would be more than fine. I need to stay away from big blue and white spots.

What about horseshoes

I have looked at them and will consider it as an option. Their not my first choice.

Thanks for the replies!
