Ever feel like.... (1 Viewer)

you chose, or fate chose for you, sets of chips you’ll never finish because no one wants to part with them?
I know it’s a long game play to get to where you want unless you find one of them $75 TRK sets LOL

I feel a little bit like that with the ES secondary chips. I have just enough to need more. I have faith that I will find more, I just hope it doesn’t take 10 years lol.

I guess it depends on how badly you want the chips in question. If you want them so bad that you will pay a high premium over what the expected value of the chips are them someone will more than likely sell. Unless it is a set that only 1 or 2 people own. That could take a lot more money.

Now if you want them, but only at a price you feel they are worth, that is a different story and you may never find them then.

The thrill is in the hunt but I understand, sometime it can be a grind.

I have some chips I've literally been searching for 10+ years.

And some that I have been trying to complete a playable set for at least as long, they are available but usually well above my price range and/or in rotten condition (urinal pucks). I mean i would love to have them but I'm not willing to pay that much or put up with them in bad condition enough to pull the trigger.

You have just started down the rabbit hole so my only advice is "patience grasshopper". :

I’ve gone through this with Ritz chips and it’s frustrating beyond belief. Just joined here to hopefully track down enough to at least finish my 2-table set.
