Hi all. Just recently got super interested in chips and discovered this forum. My only chips are pretty cheap, Claysmith Desert Heat, but I love them anyway. Nice colors, 25 cent and 50 cent available for our small pot games. Good theme for our desert location too. Bill

Those Desert Heat chips are nice looking for slugged chips. I know a few people with similar sets.
Check out the group buy section and the classifieds section. There's usually a deal to be had somewhere in there.
Do you have any chip samples? I'd recommend picking up a sample of around 10 chips for shuffling to test out the different kinds of chips available.

Welcome to the forum. Great to have another Texan here although it looks like you are currently overseas. Congrats on the Desert Sands chips. There are several chippers here that still have their set and let's face it, we all have to start somewhere. You will find yourself looking at chips and purchasing them that you thought you would never spend that much on when you started.
As everyone on here will attest, Get samples and enjoy the journey. Also please know that there are many great chippers on this forum that are read, willing and able to help!
