I thought this as well, and I believe David just told me this is not the case. He indicated something to the effect that he won’t let crappy chips exit QC, and requires the upcharge on bright white.
In the chip designer, save (export) the chip into a PNG file. You can select to save them all, which creates a spread of all the chips in the set. Then upload the file here.

Yes, only bright white imperfect edgespots can be used without premium, full base is not available without premium.
BTW.. I used BW no prem edge spots and they looked very nice.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. That was for my edge spots. I had the option to waive that charge for imperfect spots. But for my bright white base chips, I had to pay the 50¢ fee.

They did an amazing job on the alignment that was above and beyond so it’s all good. My OCD was having fits when I first got them but didn’t even notice the white when I used them in a game.

I’m thinking about it. I asked about the mold schedule about 2 weeks ago and David told me B Diamond was in at the moment and would probably by 3-4 months before it goes back in.

Hey Bill. I saw the pics on the site but I’m looking for the info from the chip design tool so that I know exactly what colors and spots are used on the stock design.
This will help me tweak them without losing some of what I see that I like.
