Just want to thank @Mr Tree and all the committee members for the BUBBS' POKER DEN CALI CASH set nomination.

I feel honored that my tribute set to my best friend, Bubbles, was included among all those superstar sets! I'm truly humbled by it.

@ChaosRock Bubbs got one of my votes. Really cool set, sir.

We are coming into the home stretch, if you haven’t already voted please do so before Sunday!

You sir, are dead to me.

Paymaster

Pillage and Plunder

Please keep an eye out for the actual entries. I will post here when they are made.

Wow, thanks! TBH I thought the P&Ps had a decent chance a month ago, right up until this thread was posted showing the competition... every set was worthy. I’m honored for my set to have made the cut.

Awesome! Very proud. Thank you to all the supporters. It means a lot to me to get recognized among these great sets up for nomination.

I also want to thank my neighborhood for without it I wouldn’t have the inspiration behind this set. :D

It is such a pleasure to see what imagination and skill can produce. I started my custom set, but second guess ed myself too many times. Congrats to all

No minimum, but it can come up as a topic of discussion by the committee. The Boulevard chips had only 300 chips in the entirety of the set. This upset a few people who thought the pictures of the set were just stylized photos, and not actual pictures of every chip.

Therefore, this year breakdowns were published for sets when the breakdown was known. Unfortunately that information isn't always easy to come by, as old chippers die or just fade out of the hobby, just leaving behind photos - many of which were lost over time.

There are a few other ins and outs that prevent any set from being nominated year after year, and each committee member has their own personal likes/dislikes which rotate out as committee members rotate in/out.

And what are the aspects needed, like having high-tier edgespots, shaped inlays/faux shaped inlays, totally original design, cash or tournament, and others?

Having an original design certainly helps, but there is no specific criteria. Just create a custom set that enough people love and you will be on your way.

The toughest part is the committee does a ton of work, then discusses aspects that the common chipper may not realize. But the voters can just scroll through the pictures, ignoring the significance of the chip. One example, Club Antarctica. One of the first custom sets ever, but unlikely to ever go to a vote because spots and colors were very limited back then.

Guys,

I want to personally apologize as real life had sidetracked me for some time and I am extremely late on this. The hall of fame writeups for Knollwoods, Paymaster, and Pillage and Plunder have all been added to the resource section. I still owe one on Capital Room and aim to complete it this week.

Once again thanks to @bivey @72o @k9dr @Poker Zombie and @slisk250 for their work in putting this together.
