The amazon link says there are likely to be difficulties storing pinot noir bottles next to each other. Have you had that issue? What about champagne?
I recently found my first watch in an old box of random stuff and just picked up a new 3V CR2016 battery for it.
The thing actually works, though the glue holding the crystal on the front disintegrated over time. I am going to leave it taped until I can muster the courage to open the thing up again and polish it.

uhhhh, you need to catch up on the desjgn kickstarter project.
Unless someone posts a general thread ABOUT the Modianos, I’d have no clue what you’re all talking about.
Consider me interested though. Cliffs would be appreciated, since I don’t follow Design card threads.

Ahhhh, ok. Would be nice if someone posted something about this OUTSIDE a kickstarter thread about a brand of cards that many folks may not take an interest in.
Without continuing to thread jack/derail here, I’ve been big Modiano PA fanboy, but may have to revisit this given this new info.
Edited to add, that I didn’t notice the thread that mentioned some quality control issues and discoloration. However I haven’t followed it closely since it is outside of my interest. I did not know the cards were produced by Modiano, nor did I know that Modianos response was less than satisfactory.

Buuut, you’re missing my point.
I’m not into the Design cards. I didn’t participate in the group buy, so I didn’t follow the threads about it. I did read that the QC sucked, and that there were some issues, but since I didn’t follow/participate, I had no idea these were made by Modiano. I thought Design was its own company?
Had there been a thread, “Boycotting Modiano”; I might have spotted it (but not a guarantee).
Not a big deal. I appreciate hearing about the Modiano issues. I have plenty of non-Modiano setups to put into play for the MTTD in April. I’m sure everyone has followed the MTTD thread religiously, but if not, there’s a link in my signature.
