when I originally built my first table I coated it with Billiards cloth. After 12 years of play, it was getting a bit tired. When building my second table (my profile pic) I went with the suited speed cloth and immediately noticed the difference. Christmas present to myself was 7 feet of reverse platinum speed cloth. I installed it yesterday. Thanks to the T nuts on the insert, it was easy getting it out. Upholstering, on the other hand, is never fun. I considered upgrading the foam, but didn't. I am fully aware that the sight of racetracks make some on here shudder, but I think it looks great. Cards fire across this stuff, dealing from one end to the other is way easier!

That's why its called "speed cloth". Not too slow, not too fast. Just the right speed.
The racetrack is, well.....uhm...... yes they look great
I know there are not a lot of positive opinions of race track tables around here.
That's a sharp looking table. I really like the stainless cup holders.
