$1 million Bad Beat Jackpot (1 Viewer)

I was thinking table share should have been about $50k... Then I saw it was 6-handed and they each got over $100k.

I've heard that the poker room has been mobbed since the BBJ got so high. So much so that they opened to auxillary poker room which is just an area near the poker room in the corner where they cleared out some slots.

BBJ: $1,068,590.80

Loser of the hand (40%): $427,452.52
Winner of the hand (20%) $213,712.76
Table share (40%, split 4-ways): $106,856.28

We were in Detroit that night too (went to the Wings game), wish my GF played cards!
Could of popped into the casino for a bit. Blah!
So sick.

Damn...that's impressive.
I remember the night I threw away, preflop a hand that would have won me the bad beat at my local casino...and it was only at just under 150,000 Cad....

The asshats at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa cap the Hold Em jackpot at 50K. The rest of the jackpot money supposedly goes into other promotions. I know a lot of cash players get pissed because some of their jackpot money is used to fund seats for their Hollywood FL properties guaranteed big buyin tourneys by awarding seats to it from cash game players contributions.

As a semi-regular player here, I can confirm.

Interestingly, this saga has gone on long enough that the backup or “reserve” BBJ is now over 500k!

Quads over Quads BBJ will eclipse the previous record before it's hit again...

I thought you were in the thumb. How are you a semi regular at MCC?

Niiiiice!

Loser of the hand was a dealer from the west side of the state. Also shows the board, Q33 on the flop, then a Q on the turn to make the BBJ.

I wonder how much was in that pot. I wouldn't mind losing $1,000 in a hand if it means winning $200,000+ more than the winner :)
