Got the whole set together for photos. I'm very glad that I was able to get these from @spikeithard and very pleased with the addon from cpc. David Spragg was very helpful and put up with my questions and changes very gracefully.
Apologies for the terrible photos, I only have a camera on my phone.

I love this inlay. IMO its one of the classier designs out there. I would have seriously considered buying it if I didn't already have a surplus of chips (and a lack of chip funds at the time).

If you have already stated and I missed it. I apologize. What will you be using those sexy two dollar chips for?

I had an Atlantic club tourney sample set and really loved dg peacock as a colour. I also couldn't stop looking at the mikes casino mapes tribute set that slisk250 had made up.

It seemed wrong not to get make something inspired by those for myself. They don't match the spot progression of the other chips and really are a totally pointless and unnecessary addition to the set, but I couldn't resist getting them.

Very glad i made that decision.

Lol....i Get it. Trust me. Will you use them in a standard cash game? Whay will your starting stacks look lime?

We play $0.25/$0.50 no limit cash games and a lot of my players aren't used to stakes even as low as that.

For that reason, even though it's not a denom that is typically used most of my players would probably prefer a stack of $2s rather than $5s.

My preference would be to see big stacks on the table anyway.

If these had been on the fdl mold I would have bought them that's how much I like them

Haha whilst I'd much rather stay at home and play with the new chips, I'm just on my way out the door and going to work.

Lovely chips Mike! Those $2s are great.

@ the comment you previously made about the snail mail from Canada, LOL I learned the same about Canada post. 3 month wait for me! Never, ever skimp on postage with Canada post! hahaha.

Thanks

I wasn't in a rush to get them so I didn't want to pay the extra. Turns out the stress during the wait was worse than the extra cost, so I definitely agree. Always pay more for quick shipping.

I was having another look at my $1s and I couldn't help but notice that the dg pink spots look very bright compared to what I was used to with the originals, so I took a comparison photo.

It seems like cpc have changed the colour mix, because that new dg pink is very bright. For anyone with more knowledge than me, does the base colour make a difference to edgespots? I wouldn't imagine so.

I noticed something similar when I added on to my TPP $1s. I chalked it up to the DG color dulling over time due to use.

It could possibly be that but I notice the same colour spots on the $100s are the same shade as the $1s and they can't have seen much action. I'll keep any eye on them over time. Hopefully they stay that bright because they look great.

That $20 is one of my CPC favorites!
The $20 is what drew me to the set the first place. I managed to get 10 of them in play during my first cash game with the set because one of my players was dominating. Would have liked it to have been me but I was happy just to see them stacked and in play. Such a nerd.
