sugarcane - song by a band named PAW that i loved in the early 1990's. Their first album is entitled Dragline after George Kennedy's character in Cool Hand Luke.

Given to me by friends as my hair has been known to resemble that of Maxwell Sheffield, the character from the old TV show, The Nanny. A few permutations later and we get to Uncle Maxi.

In an attempt to get my post count up so I can enter in the chip giveaways i will try to post as much as possible.

My screen name came from a small dream that I had. I wanted to open up a small auto shop that focused on repairing and upgrading cars that would enter drift events. So I came up with "Elite Drift Garage" I quickly got on all social media outlets and I scooped up the name. For some apps I had to use "Elite Drift CO." I was planning everything for opening up the small shop and I had a devastating automobile accident. I broke all my limbs and I was unable to care for myself let alone work.

Anyway, I never persued the small dream again because my body was never the same. I recently got into poker and look forward to collecting chips and playing a lot of cash games

Wow. Welcome aboard.

My username is a combo of poker and my nickname that friends call which is part of my last name.

I guess you can say the origin is from my father who named me David after King David in the Bible. So anyway, take that and the first letter of my last name and there you have it. Pretty boring I know but I was in a hurry to buy chips when I signed up. I totally forgot to use any of the nicknames I grew up with.

Thankfully I had a nickname "Frank" to use as my username. Otherwise, I may have spent a loooong time coming up with something else lol. Don't think I would have used my first name and last initial. You certainly had your priorities in order! ;)

Hosted a game at my house and it seemed like every other flop had ace/four. Like statistically way off the curve towards the tail. Since then it is known as the Fuquay Flop.

Also related to college.

The dorm I lived in had sections A through G. Guess which one I was from.

Awkwardly I later realized the name is one letter different from the medical term for the Bonetown Express.

Too lazy to change so just kept it.

I try to play as much golf as possible. I always try to limit my putts to no more than 2 per green. 3-putting is a big no-no.

PTS = Poker TV Star
I play poker
I am on TV

The two have never gone together.

However, it made for excellent trolling when online poker was a thing.

"If you're a pokertvstar, why you playing low limit?"

I miss that.

Oz is my Boxer and my best bud!!! 22 has been my sports number for as long as I can remember, minus this year switched it up to 7 and we won my softball championship. Maybe I should have been bigoz7

I feel like "22" demonstrates pocket pair versus just 7 high. ;)

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie to the forum. I'm @Pokerdweebz 's wife and after experiencing the amazing community here first hand at our meet up, MiM, I knew I had to officially join.

Anyway, my username comes from the Jethro Tull song, The Whistler! The album it's on is hands down on my top 10 favorite albums of all time : Songs from the Wood :)

Thanks for the welcome! I'd love to come to your meet up but we're heading to Outer Banks for a week the week before and I think we'll have to pass on this one unfortunately. We've never traveled down your way before, though so we'd really love to come! Maybe for year #2?!

Just looked through your meet up post and it looks great. You will all have a blast!

@thewhistler Welcome to PCF! It was nice meeting you and Cody this weekend. You were great hosts..... Thx again for your hospitality.:)

Thanks so much for the warm welcome! It was so nice meeting you and getting to see your awesome chips! Thanks for coming to our meetup and looking forward to seeing you at future meetups and games!

I picked Bergs after "Chicken", "Guinness", and "IBetOnEverything" were taken. Just didn't feel right picking an animal or beer subservient to the chicken and Guinness, respectively, and I didn't want to subjugate myself by calling myself "IAlsoBetOnEverything".

So I picked the first thing I saw. I registered from the grocery store in the vegetable aisle, and there was a head of lettuce, so here I am.
