Thinking about doing a 1/2 pie set instead.
Thanks to Courage for his help.

suggestion to perhaps round out the cutouts on the inlay of the $100 chip?

Ya, I don't like the shape of that inlay. My options are rather limited though. I'll play with it again

Anyone in this thread (or elsewhere for that matter) that is planning an E&C mold order shortly please shoot me an email so I can have some idea for planning.

If anyone needs any inspiration specific to the mold, you should check out the 828 Club cash set by @sat guru here. Beautiful. Shameful that I didn't have it in my earlier post with my favorite E&C sets because it's definitely up there with any other E&C set you can name imo!

Full gallery in the link above is well worth gawking at, but a little taste:

Wow, those Bright White $1's are fantastic. Could have gone with a 7/8" instead of the oversize inlay though, but damn nice set.

I mostly though the E&C mold would be best suited for specific themed sets but the above set shows it can look good for any style set.

I remember thinking the same thing re: 7/8" inlays when I first saw the set (particularly when comparing to the MD-50 tourney set), but looking back now I actually think I prefer the oversized. It's close, though, and generally I'm more a fan of inlays sized "correctly" to the mold.

Looking great Travis! Love the chip colors themselves and awesome inlay man.

Suggestion: Make sure you really shrink that inlay down for the requirements of the shaped inlay parameters. It's a death-null for most inlays but it might still work with your design. Looking forward to the finals.

Thanks for the compliment, and the feedback. I was surprised that I was able to implement my vision for the inlays with some editing tools and a few google searches.

Good point re: the inlays. I agree, I think it's a little too close for comfort right now. I'll bring the font in a little more so there's a bigger buffer around the edges.

I'm also considering changing the $ symbol to the Thai Bhat symbol (which is also used for Bitcoin).

No problem man. They really do look sweet already. I just remember getting excited about shaped inlays, but then couldn't make everything legible at such a reduced scale so they fit. I'm sure you've already seen this page but just wanted to make sure.

CPC Artwork Template

@Chippy McChiperson

Sorry, mate - I was off with my render as I had my shaped inlays based on the chip tool (apparently not only the colors are off sometimes ;)).
Today I did a complete overhaul of all the shapes from the official CPC template (except clover, it's missing) - and interestingly SCA is the only one that exceeds the 7/8-inch boundary! So here is a new render that should be accurate:

Compare that to a regular 7/8 inch inlay like trimoon:

Another mockup. I think Dayglo Orange is closest to the red/orange of the roof in most illustrations of the place, though recent pictures show the shingles as being more of a muted tan now.

I've been told me art needs to be submitted no later than 2 weeks from now. You can still get an order in.

But the clay has mostly been made. So any new orders are going to depend on clay being available right now as well as art no later than 2 weeks.
