Toad Stuff (1 Viewer)

I like Machi Koro but the little cardboard tokens are pretty small for my fat fingers, especially when there's a lot of back and forth with the tokens. So I ordered a tiny small of chips from OWPS and--voila!--problem solved. (The game doesn't need that many coins/chips so I ordered close to the minimum for each chip and then split the set in two, one for me and one for the friend who introduced me to Machi Koro.) Thank you, Sal!

Awesome upgrade for a great game!:D We have been playing it with poker chips as well, but not customs. Maybe I need to upgrade as well.. How much did this cost you?

If you use the same breakdown as the base game it would be $56.28 (42 39mm, 24 43mm, 12 46mm). I added extra chips to account for expansion sets so it ended up being ~$75 (50 39mm, 28 43mm, 24 46mm).

Getting the colors as close as Sal did took a bit of work. If you don't want to hassle with that, I'd be happy to reorder these and send a set to you.

@toad94 - pick up Hocus from Hyperbole games. It's cheap, it should be played with chips, it's poker-esque but isn't really poker at all. I suspect you'll enjoy it.

Thanks a lot, definitely interested in that, but not sure yet. Pretty decent price for sure, and they look like such an improvement over the default paper "chips". I'll send you a pm later on!

I never get to use my ASM Cedar Room HHR $100 in a cash game (my guys prefer smaller stakes), so I decided to add some tourney denoms and split the set into a cash set and tourney set. I figured while I was doing that I might as well add a fractional cash set, too, right? (chipper's logic).

As always CPC was fantastic to work with and the chips are incredible; the pictures here with less-than-ideal lighting conditions don't quite do them credit. Thank you, CPC!!

The original $100 is on the right. The new version is on the left. DG Yellow has changed a bit since the original was ordered (about ten years ago!). Still, I'm amazed at the consistency of the two chips ten years apart. (y)

This is supposed to be Canary Yellow. My camera apparently loves to blow up the saturation on Canary Yellow. It's a bit more muted (but still sweet) IRL.

Nice additions! Are we using these tonight?

Very nice set, hoping to see more at The Divide later this year! We sometimes do a 10:1 buy-in, just to get the larger denominations into play.

Awesome all around man! Some crazy sweet combos in there. Very nice work.

One night my brother kept betting $11 over and over and saying the line from Spinal Tap, "It goes to eleven," each time he bet. It just became a thing our players do from time to time now when the game starts to get silly. So I figured I'd make a commemorative chip that literally went to $11. They don't see play but they make a decent card-topper. (y)

We actually used a few as live chips at the Rumble in the Rockies. Raise yo

I've posted this set before, but I added a quarter (and a few secondaries) to my Bellagio tribute set so I thought new pics were in order. The quarter is Butterscotch and Canary Yellow. As always the gang at CPC rocks!

A little color variation between three orders (and ~5 years, including the move to Vegas and back as the Phoenix-esque CPC) doesn't bother me at all.
