I know a few others such as @David O and @GoStumpy have 36mm sets, so if you're exploring other options here is some info for you!

I recently purchased a tournament set from the Horseshoe Cleveland sale, and went on a search for racks that hold the chips a little better than standard 66.7mm racks. I found that Spinetti's sells red racks for tokens that were described as 37mm for the diameter of the chip/token. This description was found on either Amazon or eBay for the same product from the same seller.

I contacted them to see if these racks would stack when filled (they advised they would not, and to be fair I did not specify I would be using them for chips), what diameter chips/tokens they were made for (they re-measured and advised 38mm) and to confirm the racks were the same across all sales platforms (they are).

15 of these can be had for around $28 shipped in the US, and like most racks the shipping is what kills it. I did find that you can order 2 from their web store ($0.75 each, $5.60 shipping) for a total of $7.10. They also have them on eBay for $8 shipped for 2.

I decided to test out 2 of them at this price instead of taking the plunge into potentially being stuck with 15 if they didn't work out.

They hold 16 of these chips per barrel and 80 per rack of standard chips with some wear. There is a little vertical room, so chips in better condition will be more snug. This was tested first with worn 1k chips then brand new 100 Buy-in chips as shown below.

These racks are lighter and more flexible than standard 66.7mm racks. When filled they actually stack and wobble comparably, mostly due to a bar on the underside of the middle barrel. They do stack though, as you can see the groove on the bottom that makes contact with the top of the chips on the rack beneath it.

I'm not sure if any of this will be helpful to anyone, but it's an alternative option to a standard rack for a smaller chip. The fit is definitely closer if you can deal with an unusual number per barrel (but even number per rack) but it does not improve stability for the chips when stacked.

I just ordered a bunch of these. In looking at the pictures if you were to shave down the rectangle in the middle rack do you think they would stack better?

I think so, but I can't be entirely sure as I don't have anything to test that with mine. The main wobble seems to come from the middle barrel where that rectangle is, and the parallel lines outside of that rectangle should make contact with the barrel once that rectangle is gone so it is flush with the rest of the rack.

Let me know how they work out for you! I've had a couple other things in the works but still have my chips in 66.7 racks for now and haven't been able to pull the trigger on a full order of these.

Also get some photos up of the whole set! :D

As mentioned above @Forty4 purchased a bunch of these and gave me some more information about them. Based on that and the lack of finding other storage options, I went ahead and took the plunge as well. I paid $28.95 shipped for 15 racks from Spinetti's on eBay. This ended up being cheaper for me than buying the racks from their website or Amazon due to shipping costs.

They stack 6 high in a birdcage, but that reduces the total capacity from 1000 racked chips in standard racks to 960 chips (12 racks x 80 chips instead of 10 racks x 100 chips.) However, these racks are lighter and smaller, which allows for extra space around the outside of the racks for a setup of cards or dealer buttons, and also makes the case a little lighter (though that may have more to do with having 40 less chips.)

I tried sanding down the rectangle on the underside of the middle barrel of the rack but it didn't work out. I don't think it's causing any additional problems. The lateral stability is much better with these compared to 66.7 racks, but they still wiggle and lean forward a bit when moved.
