Desjgn Bridge w/Jumbo Index (2 Viewers)

I was tinkering around with a 4-color deck idea a couple of years ago, before I back-burnered it, then finally shelved the idea with very little work done.

If you think this concept could appeal to both the 2-color and the 4-color crowd, feel free to use it.

Feel even freer to send me a couple of set-ups.

That back design is great but if all that is changing is the index size, I'm not sure that's going to be enough incentive to buy extra set-ups for those of us who already own that back. I imagine that back variety (like the Classic Victorian) would generate more interest, at least it will for me. :whistling:
If this takes off, I would much prefer that you receive a new unreleased design...I have quite a few that I cannot wait to show.

New back design works for me!!! Blue and Red setups FTW. Let's get the Kickstarter going!

I know we can get many to buy multiple sets here and I am sure there are some members to card collecting site that can get people over to the page!

If you did a Group Buy thread and were able to come up with close-to-final costs, I'm sure you'd get the commitment/up-front payments you'd need. This is a very solid/interested community, who not only loves your product, but loves supporting DIY projects such as these.

I'll be the first one to tell you, if you put up a GB thread, I'd easily commit to 8 setups (approx. $100?) to make this happen!

PS: SICK mockups!!! Can we get an Ace-of-Spades mock??? :)
Ace of Spades :)

I do not mind helping keep track or organizing a GB for this to happen. I would love to see it happen so let me know if there is anything I can do. @desjgn I am willing to donate a little of my time!

Edit: Antique centers FTW!!! Classic Culture Red/Blue Backs FTW!!!
Feel free then David. Thank you. :)

In for 2-3 setups. Card back design is can be anything, but the greater assortment of colors, the better.

Don't like bridge size, but can't pass up a new design from Desjgn. 1 jumbo set please.

Realized I've got two dented cards in my favorite classic cultures, make that 2-3 setups of these for me.

Love these cards @desjgn . We played with the regular index bridge, red and blue decks last night. First time for myself playing with them. Really love the feeling to these cards and of course the artwork and font.

Looking forward to the the bridge jumbo index cards to come out in red and blue.

Take care,
Kyle

I go for a middle ground red between dark and bright.

I know you're into functional beauty... A darker red looks great on the board, but is easily misread when doing a quick corner-peek to look at your down cards.

My brightest red card looks a little too bright on the board, but it most clearly reads red when looking at down cards in dim light.

It's something of a conundrum - please make sure to see how they read face-down when evaluating reds.

Also, in for at least one setup.

I appreciate your comments on the matter. In the 10 years I have been designing playing cards, there has not been an issue/comment made in regards to the Pantone red I use--at least to me directly. I interpret that to mean that I have struck the right balance within that conundrum. However, with the new Flourish and the Victorians, if this has become an issue, I invite players to bring it to my attention so that they can be rectified for Desjgn Jumbo index in bridge.

Any update on these?

After last night's game, I realized the Desjgn cards are truly one of my all time favorites. The feel is really bar none! I just need to get my mitts on some jumbo pips!!!

Thank you for the compliments! I just need to get my ducks in a row still to launch the Kickstarter campaign. I am hoping for March to begin. I'd love to get enough raised to provide at least two different back color combinations as to appease both the red/blue traditionalists and those that like a second color set option. It has been awhile since I have done a black back color as an option.

I would really like to go to the San Antonio Meetup come October that David O is putting together. I think it would be sweet if these bridge jumbo index could be produced by then and be used at the event. Not a bad goal to try and achieve.

Let's do this! :)
