I've just reached a sickening 12BI downswing, after a $980 weekend upswing in 14.6 hours, last month. Mostly coolers (running broadway straights beating straights or sets, and suited flushes beaten by running flushes w/ unsuited A or K), and one or two jammed post flops, with AA.

What's yours?

About 10 years ago I made a trip to Moutaineer casino in WV with a friend. Took some of the worst coolers that day on my way to my worst loss at $1/2, $1,400.

I flopped nut full house and lost getting it all in on the flop vs trips when running AA came off. I lost count of the number of straight and flushes I had that got run down that day.

I have had a few other $1k downswing days since then, but they have been at $2/5 or PLO.

Fortunately I have had many more $1k win days than loss days overall though.

I lost 3 buy ins one night to the same guy. This guy was terrible and just getting smacked by the deck. I was pretty young and didn't have a lot of discretionary income so it took a lot of balls to keep buying back in. I hit the ATM, bought back in, doubled through that guy a couple times before he left.

-$2700 over 8 sessions of my regular $1/$2 game (7 of them losers.) I had about $500 in wins during that period in other, smaller games but any way you look at it, my worst downswing ever by far. Interestingly enough that also immediately followed my biggest win by BB ever (over $900 in a $.50/1 game.)

Apart from that I don't think I've ever had a $1k downswing, although $800-$900 has definitely happened a few times.

(None of the above counts PCF meetups - won or lost over $1k in a day at least 7-8 times in those. Never had 2 consecutive losing days though. :))
