Just bought some starbursts, but am 5 short of a rack. I have a for sale add up, but not sure what color they are. I think they are either rose or plum.
If someone has a color sample and an AS 500 that could snap a picture I would appreciate it. Thanks for any help. Pron for reference:

I think I have a single of both the AS 500 & PH $1 to compare to. I'll try to remember to take a photo tonight alongside some sample colors. (not at home yet)

(Also note that I've seen some racks of Paulson solids before where the color seemed to be slightly different from batch to batch. So some solid "plum" or "mauve" chips might not match other)

P.s. are the solid starbursts chips in your photo been played with? cleaned? oiled? It might help to take a side-by-side photo of a clean/unoiled chip next to a cleaned/oiled chip.

Would appreciate it very much. I just got them in the mail today. No clue if they’ve been oiled. Assuming they’ve been played since there are some flea bites.

Ok. took some pics. That's a tough one. Looks to be somewhere between Plum, Mauve, and Maroon. Maybe a really dirty plum. Pics below are taken under
some LED lighting (with 4000 kelvin color temp I think), and the colors of the photos on-screen seem brighter than in real life.

@AWenger thank you very much. I find this immensely helpful but confusing at the same time. Your lighting is better but I’m thinking rose is out for sure. It’s almost a mix between plum and maroon. Maybe I should live with 95 of these or buy a color sample set. Thanks again.

LOL. You're welcome. Interestingly enough, I've felt the same way about looking at photos of chip colors online, or even trying to color-match other solid chips to one of the colors in the sample set. Sometimes, some of the solid roulette or starburst chips don't exactly match other colors, but they're close. That may be the situation you have with yours.
