Hi,

Friend of mine who has 800 chips that are pretty gross wants to get an ultrasonic cleaner. Chips are only used 2-3 times a month. I have read 180Ws are needed. But is that a bit of overkill for such small usage?

Thinking of this one = cleaner 3 Liter, 120W Ultrasonic and 100W heater.

Any advice on what to look for? Thanks

Hope to be purchasing some CPC chips for myself soon.

Thanks. He just wants one unfortunately. Besides, don't know where to rent one.

They are old chips with metal slug inserts.

I have the exact unit but 1 size smaller. Works good, but don't overload it with chips. Mine is 10 chips for 90 seconds.... And it's about perfect.

Hi there searched for ultra sonic and found this thread. Quick question, is dish detergent (dawn ultra is what I've used in the past to clean chips by hand) the only detergent that should be used? I thought I read somewhere that TSP was used in an ultra sonic cleaner for chips?
