I know a lot of people are waiting for their chips so I thought I would start a thread for everyone to post into.

600 chip tourney set

25 - 140
100 - 160
500 - 100
1k - 160
5k - 40 (44mm yet to be received)

I have a sample set of 1, 5, 25, 100, 500. And I stole an extra 1k from the tourney set. Looking forward to seeing others cash and tourney sets, especially if people did any color variations.

Man the scroll mold turned out sweet on this run. Smart of them to do this on that mold. I guarantee it sees some orders going forward now.

Got my set today - still needs to be dusted off and oiled, but I figured I'd throw up some pictures.

500 tourney / head's up set (to recreate the final game in the movie of course :) )

200 - $25s - green w/dg peach
160 - $100s - black w/dg green
60 - $500s - purple w/dg arc yellow
60 - $1,000s - imperial blue w/ canary yellow
20 - $5,000s - charcoal w/blurple/gray

The majority of the set are the original colors from the movie. For the higher denoms. I always thought what made this set classy and unique was that it used deep, rich primary colors for the base chip color and lighter/brighter edge spots. So instead of the yellow 1k that's been done in previous group buys, I elected to go with imperial blue; after getting samples, I felt it was distinguishable enough from the purple to not be a problem with mixed stacks. The selection of the charcoal 5k chip has a bit of a goofy back story to it. When I first started hosting tourneys, I picked up a set of the china clay private cardroom chips. Starting stacks had 100/500/1k chips, and I had a couple of barrels of 5ks for color-ups later in the tourney, though in those days we usually had 10-12 guys playing, so we typically only had a handful in play. That 5k was a silver/grey chip with purple spots, and one of my regular players would do everything he could to get one, and would hold onto it until he absolutely had to play (it was often his last chip). It became a running joke that anytime he got one, everyone aimed to get that chip from him. A few years later, I graduated to my current set of PNYs (with newly acquired matsui plaques ;) ), but he still gets ribbed by the others for the whole silver chip obsession. This set will supplement my PNY tourney set for smaller, single table games, and I thought it would be a fun through back to include his silver & purple 5k chip... :D

Anyways, onto the pics:

Jake those $1k chips are amazing! Can you tell me what the colors are? I wish I got mine like that :/

Doh, I wanted to be the first splashed pot lol. My camera skills suck anyway. Unfortunately I have not receive my $100s yet, so will wait for those before snapping better pics. BTW, I would be willing to trade some of my $5ks for $500s and or $1ks if they are in Jake's colorway.

Quick request. If anyone deviated from the 'stock' colours has any extras at all, I would really love to get one, so that I could have samples of everything in my collection.

Could someone please change the title of this thread to read "scroll mold Rounders"?

Hell, even Holy Modal Rounders would be less confusing to my tiny aged mind.

Where can I get my hands on some of these babies? Do they have any smaller denominations than 25$? I'd love to get 1$, 5$ for a smaller home game.

Are these ASM? What company makes them?

Thanks in advance!

This set is amazing. Where can I buy a smaller denomination set like your cash game set here?
CPC (classicpokerchips) made them as part of a preorder group buy. Unlikely you'll be able to get some soon unless someone sells a set otherwise contact CPC and see if you can order one. You may be waiting for a whil though.

Same chips as ASM also.

I pretty much got the last 100 available I think.
But fear not, they will be producing this mold in about another 5-6 months so I'm sure this replica will be run again.

Bummer! You're a lucky duck :)

Any suggestions on who to talk to over at CPC or should I just contact their general sales alias?

Thanks for the quick response!

That 1k chip is so awesome!

For those that have their chips, are you guys like grabbing stacks of hundos and dropping them onto your tables saying,

"In my house, I will splash the pot whenever the fuck I want."
