Okay, kids

Well... I'm honestly a little shocked that nobody jumped on this as a set at $1.50 per chip

Oh well o_O

So I'm gonna change course a little bit and sell them by the stack (AKA "barrel")

Prices will include PayPal & shipping... I will send buyers detailed invoices to ensure a safe transaction

All prices are firm

Also, just to let everyone know in advance: I do not "hold items pending payment"... First to pay up gets the cookies... Thanks in advance for understanding :)

Current availability:
112 x $1 blue
53 x $25 green

Sold so far:
20 x $1 blue
405 x $5 red
350 x $25 green
202 x $100 black
102 x $500 lavender

So the paypal fees can be deducted from the sales price(s) so long as you don't incur them?

What about shipping on lots larger than 100 chips?

I'd say that's fair if payment is sent F&F... The transaction isn't as safe that way, tho... But I can provide references...

As for transactions over 100 chips: we all know that the small flat rate box fits 100 chips... I imagine we can fit a few more in there... But 200 or more and we'd have to move up a size... I suppose we'd just cross that bridge when / if we come to it :)

Good questions :) thx for asking!

This is like a Dutch auction. You wait until you think the price is right. Then you wait some more to get them at a discount, but you can't wait too long or else someone else buys them and you wish you'd hit the Buy button earlier. It's much more a psychological game than a regular auction.

exactly! i feel this is the most effective way to get the best ROI

....anxious to take the over under that someone snatches these up. might be priced a tad high still

I'll be picking them all up on June 30th ;)
I'd expect these would start moving after this weekend.. my over/under - June 18th :)

You should charge the extra cost on top of the price. Lots of overseas chippers on these boards. Just saying, if you are having an auction, you should have more people bidding.

Charging extra to go toward shipping doesn't help a whole lot of you get screwed out of your product and the payment...

Sorry... But I'm on the same page as a lot of private sellers: I simply do not want to ship outside of the US... I've heard too many horror stories about sellers getting scammed... It isn't worth the risk to me

How do sellers get scammed? I thought paypal was pretty black and white? Can international banks pull payments once sent? I'm not trying to change your mind, I'm just wondering for my own knowledge.

We have an online business and we ship stuff all over the world, so I was just inquiring.

Small sample size, but I've never had a problem selling chips internationally. Definitely lots of non-United States buyers on this board that have money and want to buy chips that are often difficult for them to buy in their home country.

I've heard of buyers claiming the product never arrived... And then paypal yanks those funds out of the seller's account to reimburse the buyer...

There's no shortage of scumbags out there looking to screw people over... When the incident is international, it makes it all the more difficult and complex

It might not happen often, but it isn't worth the risk to me...

Since you have such strong opinions about it, you could always go ahead and buy whatever xdan wants from me and ship the items to him ;)
