I thought I would start a thread about the tables I have built and, going to build. I have built a few tables, but the last two tables I have had many compliments on, so someone asked me to build them one of my LIT rail with Charging stations. This one was an upgrade from the last lit rail I did.
You can see some of the other tables in the links below: (I do not have any pic's of my older ones. In shot 1, 2, 10, and 11 is an old one)

First Lit Rail
Custom felt with Charging #66

Custom Felt, Designed by me, printed by @T_Chan (of course)
RGB + W Led lights
5 double USB Charging station
Power supply
Vinyl is Marine grade

I bought these from e-bay, the key search is "USB Socket", I did buy the china ones (they are $4, US ones are $8).

Soo, I am building another table (SIMPLE) for a player at a game I attend once a month @Shaggy 's house.
Most patterns are NY in a diamond (the last graphic kinda show it. The second one is players names and numbers, I only used a few to get the point across.
He picked number 7. this one shows cards but thats to show the cards on the board..

I am going to meet up sith him to finalize the design soon and tweak the designs before he makes his final decision.

I like 3, 4, and 5. YOU?

I wanted to post a few custom cloth Ideas I had, He wants NY Giants: I was able to get him away from the CARDS..

#3 old school design is awesome. #4 in 2nd place.

Awesome table BTW.

What would you consider the absolutely necessary tools to do a build @ home? Which tools are nice to have but not completely necessary?

Jig saw, drill...(circular saw is partially a must)..
Router..and the above.
I use, circular saw, routers, and orbital sande to build the table with lit rail.

Awesome job! Estimate for materials cost?
I would not mind devoldaging that info, but then I would give away how much I make.

How much do one of these typically cost?
I charge about $1500 - depending on a few factors, brand new legs with what ever finish are more expensive then me getting legs and painting them black from craigs list, and if you want a certain stain instead of black. This does includes custom felt and the artwork.

Very nice! What did you use for the light diffuser?
I used acrylic 1/8" thick lighting white 45%, I went to TAP plastics and found what I wanted and ordered it cut to the height and length I wanted (limit on length).

Oh - I thought you were just a hobbyist builder...didn't realize you sold tables too!

With more and more phones supporting fast charge features have you considered upgrading the charging sockets to having both slots be 2.1A

Nice tables!

I have thought about it, right now two people us the chargers, everyone else does not need to. Th nice thing is, that I can add more down the road of the same type to give everyone a charge, or, I can replace these to upgrade.

Is there any worry about the powerbox overheating running all those electrical components?

Aside from it being a Giants felt.....

What about either turning the helmets so the "neck hole" so it is perpendicular to the long line of the table.....OR losing them altogether. The canted angle of them is really effing with my OCD. Maybe just a big "ny" at the ends

I like the blue racetrack so I would take #4 and stretch it out so the back of the end zones are right at the helmets, and lose the goalposts

Chipjoker I think I'm leaning to 4 or 5 I like Rowdy's idea on #4 We will talk. Hoping to host our game in December

Thanks for all your hard work on this
