Was messin' about and attempted to replicate the bellagio chips.

no real plans with these.. just wanted to see how they would come out.

looking at this pic, the colours seem a little off to the actual AI files.

Colors a little off? Perhaps... But not enough to where someone would throw their hands up and say "I'd never play with these!"
I think those colors really pop! Worthy attempt sir! Id buy a set! Foooo shooo!

I have samples of the ceramic product from a previous set I got made up. If people are keen, wheels can be put in motion.

Samples available. Pricing can be sorted within a few days.

As always, I oppose the production of a direct rip-off chip. Tributes are one thing, but a direct rip-off shows me a complete lack of creativity. Throwing it up on the boards for approval? Why not just throw up a link to chipguide and say I was going to get these made up in ceramic? I won't even get into the copyright issue, or the "I will never take these to Las Vegas" defence. I will simply take the high ground and say: mock up something that is more than a tint off the original, or buy the real deal. Don't look for conspirators to a crime here.

Damn it, I took the legal issue anyway.

It's not like you invented zombies or anything..... just sayin'. ;)

I have no problem with the rip off. I wouldn't want them, but no one is going to cash these out a the bellagio. I think the legal issues are largely a non issue, unless he starts selling them.

Then again, I have no idea how fair use really works. I am not a lawyer. Nor do I care about this issue.

had some chips made... couldn't help myself.

doesn't matter who made them, or how much they cost (which was bugger all...) as i cant be seen to be reselling these.

i got 1000 done to start. 2x 500 piece cash sets

decided against aligned edge spots, as i wanted to keep it simple.

I use a guy in China.
I'm happy with the quality. I can only compare them to sidepots venerati range.

What would a fair price be fr a Chinese ceramic? I'm keen to hear what people would pay as a wholesale price

sweet. i got a good deal then.

Once i factor in the exchange rate from US to AU, then the fedex, it worked out pretty cheap.. relatively

I like the way those came out, very sharp. Where did those come from?

just a bloke in China..

obviously my chips infringe on copyright, so my poker supply contact here in Australia put me in touch with a guy he knows in China.. went from there
