The rest of my Ace's came in today!

Haven't cleaned any of them. The 2's, 3's, 25's, and 100's don't need it but the 1's and 5's do. Being OCD about germs they are all going to get cleaned anyways lol.

I've got another 25 100's but those were already cleaned that came in an earlier order.

Nice set Cheese! Love all the chips but specially the $2s(duh!), $3s and $25s… They all go well together for sure…

Thanks! I actually had a few chips that didn't make it from my order so I decided to take advantage of the additional box needing to be shipped and ordered another 100 of the 2's. I'm not sure but I may just sell the 1's being I can't see myself ever using them when I've got such awesome 2's and 3's :)

Keep some so you have all the denoms. Even if its just a rack.

Yeah that's a good point. Actually now that I've gotten them cleaned I can't see myself wanting to part with any of them even if I don't ever use the 1's.

they're great chips. this giant inlay has something special imo.

Thought it might be fun to see some action shots of the Ace's :).

Hmm... to call or not to call...

Call! Buddy had top pair off the flop and hit his 2nd pair on the river but I had the straight on the turn.

Now down to 3 people. I get pocket Aces. Call the guy across from me all in after the flop. He calls :(

Yup. It's "CLUB 2/3". Open only to those with a very rare strain of Obsessive Chip Disorder. Not many are afflicted with this, but it's really sad when you do see it happen. Nice photos, though!

What was on the flop? 5d 4d 8h? or the other way?

Haha yes good old Club 2/3. I have to say it definitely made the game a little slower as people tried to figure out their bets/calls/blind etc. It was still fun though

The flop was the 9 8 8 so he flopped the boat :(.

thanks for sharing these live shots, I enjoy 2/3 hearts especially !
Aces pocket pair vs 8/9 clubs is a bit less funny :(

Yeah the 2 3 was a fun hand :). The A A vs the boat wasn't nearly as fun lol. Thankfully my buddy didn't have many chips so me doubling him up didn't hurt me too badly.

true, he seems to be shortstack, compared to you.
He was certainly a bit sad about it as it's pretty rare to flop a full house, especially against the rockets !!

btw, what's the origin of the expression "the boat" ?
I think it's somethin' like the nuts but I'm note sure, as a pocket 9 would have been the real nuts in this board (considering your buddy had a 8 in hand).
thanks

A boat is just another name for A Full House. Idk where it originated though. Might just be a Midwest thing Lol
