99.4% sure those are super diamonds. Edges are too smooth, shiny and sharp, mold and recess don’t look right for clay.
The diamonds have the correct spacing. The super diamonds I’ve seen the points on the diamonds almost touch each other.

Somebody recently posted somewhere that they thought the Paulson mold had a wider protective ring than the plastic ones, I think?

your eye is better than mine, yes those look like dimples. and not the cute ones.

Done with the wishful thinking. I'm pretty sure I can see dimples on one of the pictures. I really wanted the yellows to be clay to fill my rack. Oh well the quest continues.

Ceramic Diamond mold chips. Not what I need but not the disappointment I was expecting.

If you have a spare, snap one in half! That will tell you what they are. Look to be clay with the cross hatching on there and the use.

snapped easy enough, caught fire instantly. There at small pips inside every sixth diaomond

All these signs point to plastic, as far as I can tell. What makes you say they’re ceramic? Are they clinky sounding?
As far as I know, all ceramics have their injection points on the rolling edge.
Also, aside from hybrids with their recess, and minor differences in edges, I’ve never seen a ceramic chip with any kind of “mold.”

It was the clinky sound that made me believe they were ceramic. These don't feel like any chips I've had before. The pictures don't show it well but it looks like they were coated on the outside of the chip.

I have some of these in a different colour. Probably will be listing it soon.

I'm sure they are some sort of clay-composite, but they are superior to Super Diamonds in feel and weight. They *do* have a nice clinky sound like ceramics, but not as high pitched as true compression clays. They sound *much* nicer than china clays, which are clunky in comparison.

I was thinking that if the Diamonds don't touch they are Clay, and if they do Plastic/Composite.

I'm not sure if it's that simple. The only way to know for sure is to handle them. The mass-produced 8-8.5g Super Diamonds can be told right away because they have an injection mold pip right on the inner ring (always), and the inner ring itself is much wider than on these. Even in the composite world, there are quite a few differences.

That is what i used to take a chance on these.

Also a thing to look for is the super diamonds are a lot more square then the clay chips.

Is it just the whites? They may have coated them to save on titanium dioxide?
It does appear to only be the white chip with the coating.

red super diamond / white and blue are the new chips. Both new chips have a shiny look to them
