I use Tournament Director for my poker tournaments. However, the display is
usually limited to a computer monitor set up next to the older PC I use to run
it. My goal would be to wirelessly display TD on two TV's I have located in my
basement. One is my main TV and another is a TV located in my adjacent workout room
(which I utilize for my second tourney table).

The PC I use is older (maybe 10 year old). It's a decent PC, but it doesn't have built in wifi or a TV
card built in. I've read several articles that discuss utilizing USB
transmitters/receivers to view computer images through a TV, and this sounds perfect, but
I'm a tad confused by all the tech out there. Any thoughts on what I need to
accomplish this? I want to keep this reasonably cheap. It doesn't need to be HD or have super "fast" speeds (it's TD after all).

Links to specific product would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!

The cheapest way may be a $35 chromecast stick and the Google Cast extension. Here's a rundown:

Here's some questions that will help:

Can you run a wire to the main TV from the PC? Going wirelessly to two additional screens may be more difficult.
What inputs do the two TVs have? HDMI, DVI and VGA are of the most interest here.
What are the monitor outputs available from the PC? VGA and DVI are the most likely given the age.
Are there any expansion slots available? You may need a video card to support two monitors (the existing monitor and the main TV, with the workout TV getting the wireless signal)
How is the PC connected to the internet? A basic wireless router would be helpful, even if the PC is connected with a network cable.
What version of windows is the PC running?

If you already have a second PC and a wireless network in your house, you might be able to hook it up to the tv and use a remote desktop viewer like RealVNC (no audio) or TeamViewer (with audio) to see the screen of PC running TD.

One of my TVs (main) is hooked through a blue ray player to my wifi network. The PC running TD isn't connected online though. No internal wifi, and no way to hard-wire connect it to the web without running crazy cords through the middle of my room.

The tvs are both flat panels wall mounted with a variety of inputs

A 10 year old PC with no WiFi or Internet Connection? Sounds like a giant paperweight :D

...well, it does run TD.. ha!

We've had it connected to the net when it was our primary home computer, but we replaced it, and we don't have any hard-wire internet connections in our basement (game room). I was using a laptop to run TD, but then THAT took a dive on me... haven't replaced it (not sure I will).

So, unless there's a simple way to connect the PC to the TV, I might just stick with stand-alone PC. I was just hoping to improve the setup a little bit.

You could get a USB wifi adapter for the PC for like $20. That's not a big deal. What about the other questions? Is the plan for 3 screens, or is just the 2 tvs fine?

I have a gaming adapter for older pc's...essentially it's an ethernet to wifi adapter. They aren't cheap, though, and a usb wifi adapter is a better alternative. The gaming adapter is best used if you can't get drivers to work for the usb (which I've encountered with some Linux boxes I run).

The USB Wirless adaptors are great. They worked great to get anything with USB connected to the internet. Such as old PC's or Tivo boxes.

So I get the wifi adapter for the PC, it can connect to my home network.. Sorry for the ignorance to these things, but how do I get my TD image to send from my PC wifi to my TVs? Do I get some sort of receiver?

Here's a breakdown:
1. Get a wifi adapter for the PC and connect the PC to your home wifi network
LINK: http://www.amazon.com/Edimax-EW-781...=UTF8&qid=1425498565&sr=8-1&keywords=usb+wifi

2. Move the PC close enough to one of the TVs to plug the PC into the TV for screen 1. You might need a new cable or adapter, depending on the ports on the PC and TV. More info would help.

3. Get a chromecast adapter, plug it into the second TVs HDMI port (out of luck if this is a really old TV). =

4. Configure the chromecast to connect to your wireless network.

5. Follow these directions to have the screen on your PC (which is showing on TV 1) sent to the chromecast plugged into TV 2. You'll need to install some free software on the PC.

There might be some hiccups or roadblocks depending on the the specs of your PC and TVs. More info on those would help.
