Should I use the same link that you have ruskba to provide a review? I bought the fractionals w/ some $1 and $10s...

When you see your Condado set is out for delivery today:

View attachment 69081 Attention Condado $20 violet owners.. check your chips. I found that some 'Sands' chips are mixed in with the Condados. If you find some let me know and I'll exchange them.

Thanks
Jim

This is a 100% confirmed issue. This is serving as PUBLIC NOTICE. You have until 12/15 to review your chips and let me know if you are exchanging any.

FYI - Running at a about 4% rate from the ones I have left.

I have 11 Sands $20s out of my 200 chips.

If anyone else comes up with 9 (or more) Sands chips and doesn't want them, I'll pay the shipping both ways to swap with you -- I'd kind of like to have at least a full barrel.

(And it's less for Jim to worry about...)

I have 33 and would love a full rack

I left a review too.

I have felt many Bud Jones chips that seemed too hard. These have a nice soft feel to them. If anyone is on the fence, I recommend getting samples.

I found a neat error chip. This chip is Condado on one side and Ankara Casino Turkey on the other.

I was making starting stacks for tonights game and that stack of 8 $25 chips felt different. I went through them and found this one.

Nice catch.. Can't say its the first 'error' chip I've seen but it's surely the farthest in distance from home!

I'm generally not a fan of CIC chips because of how they feel/handle. The edges on them are too rough & the plastic too hard...they just don't feel "right" to me. The only reason I bought these chips is because my wife likes coins, and when she saw the row of my CIC chips in my collection binder she took her time oogling them and said she like them.

Well...sheeeee-it. That turned out to be a relatively expensive binder page of otherwise inexpensive $1 chips. A couple emails and a few bills later, and here we are.

I have to say, I'm glad I bought them. Goodness knows I don't "need" another chip set, but these chips look AMAZING in person. I'm really glad I went with the brick $5's (thanks, @Jackstraw, for the pr0n of them to open my eyes!), and the green/yellow $25's - a color combo that I'm not usually a fan of - really look bright and vibrant. In fact, pictures don't generally do these chips justice. Even the ones that look nice...well, the chips are just so much better when you see them in person.

Thanks to @TheChipVault for making this a great transaction - quick responses to email, lightning-fast shipping, and some of the best packaging I've ever received chips in!

And now, the hasty pics...

Thank you for the feedback.. I am really glad you like them! $5000 chip is on its way. If you have a minute to leave a review on the vault it would be greatly appreciated.

Enjoy,
Jim

Some live shots from last night. I got to play with these for the first time. I missed their first game since it conflicted with my wife's Christmas party.

I like how these chips handle. There were some mixed opinions on the 43mm chips. A few don't like them, a few do. Since one of my players knows that a set could be sold/traded from one month to the next. He likes these so much, he wanted to know how much it would cost him to buy the set. Of course, he didn't realize how much they go for. I have played with him for over 10 years now. He has played with TR King and Paulson chips and said these were instantly his favorite set, likes how they handle and likes the CIC.

My crew reacted the same way. They LOVED these CIC, calling them their favorite chips. And I've put some very nice clay chips on the table for them!

I figure to some (myself included) it's nice that BJ chips don't need to be broken in. Since they don't show wear, they come mint with the perfect feel on the edges. Unlike clay chips that can be just downright nasty to handle when they are mint.

Did anyone pick up any of the purple/yellow $10's?

Let's see some of the $10s that are out there....

I don't normally like any chips that aren't clay, but I'm certainly warming up to this set.

very nice chips.
