Hello, everyone. I'm Dennis, or dennis63 here (and elsewhere).

I guess you could say I was always a fan of casino chips, ever since I was a kid playing poker with my friends on summer nights. My venture into the world of real casino chips began about five years ago, on a routine day when I was cleaning out my desk at home. There, in the bottom of a drawer, was a $2.50 chip from the Trump Plaza, Atlantic City -- an old leftover from a trip down to AC several years before. I remember finding it in a pocket, thinking I would keep it as a souvenir.

This chip felt unusual -- so heavy for its size, and a material that felt as soft as rubber. I wondered what, exactly, this magical thing was. It was an old chip, from the late 1980s. I'm guessing it had some lead in it.

It was, of course, a Paulson house chip. I recall going online and typing, "What are real casino chips made of?"

Not long after, I was buying and selling chips of all kinds, and eventually ended buying a "line" of home casino chips and turning it into a (very) small business from that same desk, that same home office.

When I'm not hustling chips online, I work full-time as a police officer in Delaware, and spending time with my wonderful wife and a Belgian Sheepdog that, I think, is smarter than me. (The dog doesn't work for a living.)

I'm glad to be with all of you here.

Glad to have you aboard. I love that breed too. Here is my GSD protector....

Both my uncles are LEOs. One is with the Phila PD and the other is with the PA State Police.
They don't pay you guys and gals enough. Thank you for protecting and serving the community!

Welcome. That is a beautiful German Shepherd. We had the same breed as a family pet when I was a kid.

Welcome here brother, and Tommy I have got to say that is quite a fine looking dog :)

That's a Belgian Sheepdog. They're kinda rare. The only other Belgians I see are on dog shows. This one is the Groenendale -- all black coat, about the size of a German Shepherd.

These were the original American police dogs. The NYPD was the first department to get police dogs -- all Belgians -- in the early 1900s. They're really smart, happy, high-energy herding dogs that like to work for you.

And lately, there was a Belgian with the SEALs when they got Osama.

The only way my dog would help find Osama Bin Laden is if he happened to be opening the plastic bag on a pound of Swiss cheeze...

That's a really nice looking dog. Do they shed as much as the GSD? We are constantly vacuuming. We have hardwood floors upstairs and it like tumble weed. LOL

That's awesome! He's really beautiful, awesome history to go along with it as well.

Yes, I'm afraid they do. She is well worth the effort, though. (Just like yours!)
