I always find it interesting to hear some of the reasons as to why users select the avatar they do.

Me? My first, real set of chips were the Paulson Pharaohs and waaaayyy back I had a bit of time on my hand and made "The Pharaoh Village" from the chips and plaques -- somewhere in there I found my avatar and it's stuck.

That is pretty impressive. Mine is of my latest chips, but I sometimes use the Glock logo (I own and like Glocks), and my union's logo which is in my profile pic right now.

I started to think about what I would like my avatar to be after reading this thread and I think I've found a good one for me.

I think my avatar goes best with Goslings ginger beer, a dash of bitters, and a touch of lime

My avatar is Wildcat, the DC comics vigilante. I think he's a pretty big harda$$ and I'd love to be like him, he's also a pretty legendary hero in the DC universe, despite not having any super powers. Unlike Batman, he doesn't rely on gadgets, he just breaks jaws with his hands and can take a hit like a champ.

Mine is a painting by LeRoy Neiman. It was commishioned by the Bellagio to hang in Bobby's Room. You can't even get a print of it anywhere that I've found. Berman, Reese, Baldwin, Brunson, Harmon, Chau, and Ivey are all in it. Pretty awesome if you ask me!

I just picked a random picture from my computer. I clicked on something sufficiently small and uploaded it. I didn't really choose it for any reason asuch although I do like beetroot.

Milo Bloom from Bloom County comic strip. But, be WARNED . . . I change my avatars like some folks change their skivvies.

You are the opposite of me then! I never change my avatar. I just see no reason to bother trying to find another one from somewhere and then have to upload it. It just seems like too much trouble to me.

Way back in the day, I owned the domain ohmygodbearisdrivinghowcanthatbe.com

It's a Kevin Smith thing.

I'm a fan of cartoons, especially Looney Tunes, so those characters may appear from time to time. I also sometimes use a picture of me in my favorite outfit (motorcycle helmet).

My St Jo Terrible's. Got to update it with a barrel of the custom $1ks chips soon.

My current avatar is my first set of poker chips that I bought, my Milano's. Although for reasons unbeknownst to me I decided to photoshop and invert all the colors.

My previous avatar(a bottle of Makers Mark bourbon)is usually what I drink when I'm at a bar, which is often!

My current avatar is because I'm a Star Wars fan and I think grumpy cat memes are kinda funny

My custom ASM "Three Putt Poker 2.0" cash set.

Pron please for those on PCF who haven't seen it yet.

Obviously it has something to do with my user name. It's the most creative thing I have ever done.

Thanks for reminder. Just figured out that I haven't uploaded my avatar yet... :D
My Avatar shows one of my first ASM customs.

Just bumping an old thread (hope that's OK) -- so many new members -- always fun to know the story of Avatar.

I chose mine for a couple of reasons:
-I think the BCC GCOPs are one of the best sets ever made, and by some chip miracle (and some help from courage) I was able to get my hands on a set.
-BGinGA essentially threatened to crucify me if I didn't upload any pictures of them.

As most know I have a large set of Terrible's St Jo Primaries and I collect all things Terrible's/Terrible Herbst/Herbst Oil Co.

I think mine is obvious (altough I could use a pug too, but I think Mr. Pearson is better)
