TLDR

(honestly, I'm off of PCF for 26 hours for real-life things and this thread spawned six pages in that time.)
And we still don’t know what anyone makes. Not even the peoples who say it’s no big deal. It’s like people are careful with their finances. Paulson owners at least.

He’s simply not well socialized enough to participate like a normal person on a forum. As Barrie put it early. It’s WEIRD. I mean this is a guy claiming to be a grown man with all this experience and yet we have a raging child with no ability to engage in cool-headed discussion and no interest in it either.

I’m sure a jury of his peers would find that his comments are more frequently negative/detract from the thread than anyone else on here. His extreme combativeness is childish and embarrassing and detrimental to this community.

I have heard from a number of folks that he is pleasant in person. We met briefly once but not in a social context so I can’t comment. But Kevin’s presence of PCF is deeply deleterious to the site.

He likely needed therapy a long time ago as it appears he is unable to engage in discussion without narcissistically assuming everything is an attack on him and his way of life. He drives every thread he participates in towards anger while wielding his hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance to stymie any real discussion.

It’s really a shame. Really really a shame.
At some point the powers that be will finally remove him. I'm no stranger to controversy here myself obviously. I’ve stayed away for awhile, I don’t think I was involved in any of his last 10 crash outs.

But eventually, when someone is at the core of every single front page crash out, when someone consistently takes threads and attempts to suck everyone in to a make believe battle to kill time while on vacation, when someone constantly attacks new members, often with extreme vitriol - at what point is enough enough?

My goodness, we used to be threatened with banning if any thread was taken off topic - and that was groups of people having fun and loling online. Not spouting randomness and attacking everyone.

At the very least, consistently putting words in someone's mouth and lying about their personal lives to build some weird narrative should be quashed.

But, at the end of the day, he chalks it all up to a "joke", we all say "oh it's just Kevin being Kevin", and we move on until next week when it happens again.

I won’t post again in this thread (yeah yeah we’ll see how that goes), but at some point Liz needs to take away his phone or @Tommy and co needs to step in. If not, at least we know forum rules and decorum are no longer a concern of theirs.

For someone who comes off so offended by one person I must say you sure do suck up to all the nonsense you claim offends you so much by this particular member.

You seem to be in all the same threads and you seem to take every opportunity to do so.
I’m not so sure you’re as offended and hurt as you’d like to represent.
But it is another attention angle that gets you just that Jeffrey. ;)

If @ekricket bothers you so much, why not just ignore? But you don’t. It would take away from the attention opportunity you so much crave.

Just face it, you were made for each other.

Still, no income levels from anyone.

“I’m comfortable”
“Not enough”
“I’m ok”

Hard to do analysis with that kind of data.

Maybe people don’t want to share that info and maybe it’s rude to ask for it directly.

And guess what? Rude behavior meets rude behavior. It’s not rocket science. It’s people interacting. Happens all over almost every minute of the day, even if it’s typed out instead of spoken.

also had to double check the forum guidelines last night to try to understand why crik’s behavior in this thread is tolerated? I’d rather not go back and count, but it’s at least >10 posts in a row that are insulting, antagonistic, aggressive, and when it gets to be that many in a row, abusive. And if you thought he said something rude 200 posts ago in this thread to make u do this, forum guidelines would say ignore rather than do that?
  • Do not post libelous, insulting, antagonistic, racist, discriminatory, aggressive, or otherwise abusive messages. If you have an issue with another member and cannot reply in a civilized and constructive way, you should ignore the user.

You jumped in with some derogatory comments if I recall. Nobodies innocent here, not even you.

If you start a sentence with “all I did…..” you are guilty.

Click the report to admin button on whatever post u think was derogatory - my other 2 posts here were to say people are trolling, and to call out a particularly mean comment by another member that violated forum rules, so pick which one and report. I clicked report on the last of your 100 messages that violated forum guidelines, praying there is moderation on this forum
