Haha! I don't have enough posts to try and get these back from you Tommy! Awesome giveaway

Tommy, as always, thanks for all the great giveaways here. They're much appreciated!

very nice Tommy, thanks, I'll let this one pass, since I have a sample set already.

Thanks, ovo! Because I'd really love to win these... (I sat out on the Vineyard, and plan to sit out on any giveaway I don't really want, to help anyone who's really into the item.)

And thanks again, Tommy, and donators!

Wish I had enough posts to be entered in these. I also wished I got a sample of these back when the group buy happened.

There will be another giveaway for a set of these. Not sure when. I plan to have at least one giveaway per month.

Just curious, are these available to like, you know, buy?

I think some are for sale in the classifieds.

Give yourself and the other members a pat on the back too.

Sure, f you wanted to:

1. order enough to meet Matsui's minimum order requirement
2. get permission from the artwork owner (probably Josh and/or J5, maybe links_slayer)
3. pay incredibly-high shipping costs to get them stateside

These Matsui group buy tournament chips were available in five or six denominations (25, 100, 500, 1000, 5000, dunno about a 5 chip). All of the chip denominations could be ordered in either 39mm or 44mm. The colors, edge-spots, and label designs were all fixed/standardized, but all chips could be ordered with or without a glitter circle and glitter label highlights (for a total of four variations of each denomination chip).

You can probably get additional info from links_slayer, who ran the group buy (for Josh, I think).

I remember when the original group buy happened I just wondered if this signaled another go at it. I think I figured out that this is just some kind/crazy soul offering up a sample set to the good folks hereabouts rather than a new GB.

Somewhere I have a sample set from what I think was one of the first Matsui GBs:

I normally don't care for plastic chips, but Matsui is really it's own beast.

I think many (most, even) Matsui chips are simply gorgeous, and the WSOP tribute GB chips were no exception. I never even put my set into play before selling it; was bad enough just trying to keep stacks of twenty chips together long enough to get 'em into a rack. Slippery as snot, and so disappointing.

I did keep a sample set (I think).

Last day to enter. Good luck all.
