Flying in tomorrow for 1:30p and want to watch the Cowboys game, but then I have nothing to do for the day.

Any good poker rooms in the area? I'm staying in Bellevue if that matters, and I prefer any Omaha variant over other games (or HORSE - that's great too).

I know the Riverside in Tukwila recently replaced their Chipco's w/Paulsons. Might be worth a trip to check out the chips, but I have no idea what they spread or the quality of the establishment.

Define "recently"? I might have to go check this out too :)

But not now. House will be full of people for some poker very soon. VERY soon :)

Enjoy Seattle Bergs. Bring a rain coat. It's an ugly weekend.

Tulalip is where I go on most Sundays for 4-8 LO/8, high hands every half hour so lots of jack pot chasers It's fifteen minutes from my house in Lake Stevens though so I'm biased. That game runs every thursday and sunday for the high hands but I love it, wish it went every day. Other than that there is usually a 5/5 PLO game that plays pretty big with some good players in it. 2/2 plo has been going on Saturdays as well.

Also Fortune is in Renton, I think tomorrow might be an Omaha day as well, I have only been playing there on Fridays before the Redbelly league games so I'm not quite sure about the specifics.

Tulalip is on Bravo, Fortune has their own ap.

4/8 O8 goes regularly at Tulalip on Sundays? I'm in.

Yep, but like I say it only exists because of the high hands, which I believe start at 2, so the game usually gets going around then. I'm not sure, I usually get there around 3. Sometimes you show up and they have a 4/8 gpoing but also a 3/6 of the same game so more than a few times I've had to sit at 3/6 waiting for a seat with the rake hurting more than usual. Although I hear we have some of the cheapest rake, so whatever. I just hate having to play 3/6 when there is a tab;e of 4/8 going.

There's a few smaller card rooms in Shoreline (north seattle) up St. HWY 99 before you get to Everett. The Hideaway and Club Hollywood. Both spread games like 3-20, 3-100 (1/3 with a max raise of $20 or $100 per bet for a 3-bet cap). Both rooms will let you play with over buttons. The former is not a bad room, but the play can be a bit loosey goosey. Hideaway also runs 4/8 O8 with a kill to 6/12.

Farther south closer to Auburn (before getting to Enumclaw) you can hit the Muckleshoot Casino. They run a decent 3/5 game, and also 3/6, 4/8 limit. They used to run 4/8 Omaha but I'm not sure if they still do.

Muckleshoot casino used to run a strong 4/8 O8 game, but the promotions at Fortune Casino in Renton, WA is what ultimately sunk their weekend games.

Even though your trip is over, swing by the Hideaway on Saturdays where they spread a 6/12 HORSE game (they usually swap out Big O aka 5 card O8 for Hold'em). I'd call ahead to see if there's interest before you head out.

So I spent the past three days in Seattle and didn't think it'd be worth to start a new thread. First time visiting some casinos in the area.

1. Snoqualmie casino

I didn't play any poker as I was with my fiancee but wanted to check it out. First impression is it is smoky as hell in there. I'm very much used to no smoking allowed in my local casinos so i definitely didn't enjoy that. Poker room has 4 tables and the single table going was full. It's a $2/5 but with $100/$300 max buy-in. Strange. I did love that they had a craps table inside there to potentially play while waiting for a seat. I ended up playing craps on the main floor, made $7. Nice property but the smoke to me was bad.

2. Muckleshoot

Once again, fiancee with me so no poker. Thought it was a decent enough looking property. I can appreciate the smoking and non smoking sections of the casino separated. Still nauseating to me but what can you do. Played free bet blackjack and made $53. Wanted to play craps but very busy tables. Went to find the poker room, took a glance, no impressions.

3. Tulalip.

Best chance to play poker because I told her there is an outlet mall which allowed her to shop while I played cards. First impression, and this happened at the other casinos, is where the hell is the damn sign for the poker room. Also it's a nice property.

Got seated, mixed it up, played as short as 3 handed and loved it. I enjoy short handed play very much. Got the money in with AK against 8Tdd on a K86dd board and held. One rule I hadn't seen before but loved is the no chopping rule 5 handed or less. I get there isn't much money to fight for in the blinds but as a semi serious rec, let's play some cards! Seeing no chopping allowed short handed was nice. Finished up $257.
