Going with the more pink 25c. (which is the only chip using the Signature series blank in this small batch of samples). We are currently tweaking the $5. Once that is a go, I will have samples sent to me.

First run came out nice - faces came out great!! Can’t wait to see the edge spots and get my hands on a sample! :)

If you had to make a 500, 1k, 5k what colors would they be, or would those be plaques?

Is there a MOQ per chip to get a white $1 or other similar alterations?

I've restrained myself every time I've seen the mock-up posted but I can't any longer. What's with the black PCF text on the $20 chip?
Contrast, white on yellow is tough unless the yellow is arc yellow or brown.

Hey Tommy. is this the only design being made or can we piggyback on the order with our own design as well? Also, any chance a barrel can be made available for sale to test the feel/sound of these chips?

As much as I like $1s to be white, I'm planning to only have one design for this set.
Then make 'em white!
Guessing these are full-on ceramic. Either way, paint me extremely interested in a set around March '26.
Btw been meaning to ask @Tommy, where in Delaware? I've got people in Collins Park and near Dewey, and I'm originally from Philly, my dad's from Chester.

Since you have coin/bill progression, can I humbly suggest having the cards be $1 as Diamonds, $5 as Hearts, $25 as Clubs and $100 as Spades? Not sure about the other denoms though

Looks great! No way to fit “PCF” on the rolling edges?
Maybe. A small batch of samples are on their way to me. I'll see how the rolling edge looks as is and if I should add it.

whats the price going to be on these?
More than Tinas but less than $1, I hope. Depends on QTY. I plan on getting a set either way.

Yeah, don't think it will work. Not enough suits. ;)

Was there ever a thought to include a nickle?
Nah, I never really play micro stakes. Every player would just be a calling station. 25c or 50c is lowest denom I would use.

Certainly that is one possible outcome. But there are other outcomes that can come from a well run and we'll curated micro-stakes game.
Experience has shown that people have the ability to play poker in a meaningful way, even in a micro-stakes environment.

Having said all that. I respect and appreciate the work you must be doing to get that chipco set set up. And wish you well on it.

I used to think .25 was as low as I'd go, but I've been playing in this .10/.20 game around the corner that's been tremendously fun and not as calling station as one would think. It's full of very weak players mind. I've come around to the idea of wanting one undenominated chip in a set to be .05/.10/.50/$2/$3 etc for when a game might need some oddball cheque.

Well said there.

A beautiful WHITE X chip could be a fun way to go in such scenarios.
Of course coming up with the art to replace the dollar bills in this current beautiful theme would be a task. (Maybe a bit coin symbol on an X chip)

Got the samples. My initial thoughts;
  • Not a fan of the "coated" samples so they are out. While it makes the colors pop, they make ceramic chips slippery like Matsui chips.
  • The 25c colors still not the pink enough. I want it to be either hot pink or I may try another color all together. Maybe do white $1s and blue fracs. :wow:

Note: I was made aware of some mold imperfections on the chip faces when they shipped them. When getting samples for color correction and finish options they use these blanks that would not be used for an actual order.

Does the rolling edge look too bare?

I'm going to work on the colors some more and ask to have samples made on the signature series blanks.

Does look bare. I would advocate for some additional color(s) but not in a standard vertical pattern. Part of the benefit of ceramics is flexibility/creativity.

Pink is almost purple.
