Repurposing some CPC samples as bases for the resin ponies. These should work well as playing pieces I think.

11 runners and….3 stewards? :D

Good Times Derby News!
BREAKING: Track Probability Equalization Project — Phase II COMPLETE!

Crews worked tirelessly (and possibly buzzed) to plug a few holes between Horses 5 and 9. Experts say these precision-engineered tweaks should drastically reduce the freakish dominance of Horses 2 and 12, bringing true parity to the paddock.

The ponies will be running this Saturday, with multiple races scheduled between 7:30pm and midnight.

Race officials recommend hydrating and not falling in love w your 2's and Queen cards anymore

These are awesome! Can you please point me to where I can purchase a deck? Thanks!
I ordered them through Launch Tabletop, a website where you can create custom board games and components.
Looking forward to the review of the these cards. I'm inspired to draw up a set for my game.
Quick snapshot before I use them....

Ease of Creation Using Their Tools: 9/10
Print Quality: 10/10
Shipping: 8/10
Packing of Items: 10/10
Price: 10/10

Really happy with them so far. If they hold up to play I will be a frequent purchaser from them.

Wow, what a great website. That's me gone for the next few hours. :D

Found a very different horse racing game than the usual while scrolling through YouTube. I don’t bet on horse racing with cards, dice, marbles, or horses, but thought it was interesting enough to some here who might be interested in it.
Where can I get one.....? I like this so much better than the other version....
This could decide so many things.

I believed the video was made by the people who made it.
How often do you get the same results from the mechanical device?
I do not own the game, I just saw the video scrolling through and thought some here might be interested.

Looks interesting! One question tho. Why does the #7 jockey card have 5 hearts?
One symbol like the others, or maybe 7 would make more sense. Not that it affects play tho.
Yeah, it’s just a jockey silk. No relation to the 5 of hearts or the number 7 horse but I can see how that could be confusing.

Noted for version 2.

For those of you who have updated your board per @Darson 's calculations, are you finding the races to be more equal amongst all the horses?

What's been your experience? I'm tinkering around with some 3D printing and I want to use @wonderpuddle 's awesome templates so I was curious how the modded boards were performing.
I found that the winning horse was usually different each time. I didn't record it but maybe I should next time. I did find that the 7 never gets home dispite the better odds of it doing so. My wife questioned whether 14 jumps was too many.

More often than not if the 7 got scratched, we rolled it a bunch for penalties and if it didn't scratch we couldn't roll a 7 to save ourselves and it rarely made it to the half way mark. Luck of the dice I guess.

@Darson already did the math in post #253.
