Hey TK, do you know the base color on the 1k chip ? It doesn't match any of my paulson color sample set ??

Lime green? really? I always thought it was some sort of yellow, but now that you mention it...

Lime Green was just a guess. It looks like it matches Todd's photo but not yours. LOL Could just be the lighting.

Not my photo, actually... I linked it from Don Clay's post elsewhere in the Classifieds.

It is definitely yellow but I don't have a pulse and color set to compare it to anything. Can somebody post some of the yellow sample chips?

You don't have a pulse? :)

Sounds like it was supposed to say "don't have a Paulson color set."

Maybe plain Yellow?

And the ones posted above from gear look uncirculated, where did he get those from?

They're not mine, they're Don Clay's. At least, they're his picture. He's been trying to sell them for weeks.

One of the edgespots on a Terrible's St. Jo 50 cent primary chip is Yellow. Do you have one of those to compare?

Hmmm....maybe not, but I don't think its the yellow either. Let me check my color sample set again. AFAIK, I have a complete 84 chip color sample set.

blue and yellow = green

i think it's yellow, and the blue spots (and dirt/grime) make it appear greenish in some photos.

yellow for sure, but I don't know precisely which one it is,
my 40 chips are in excellent shape, but not mint nore uncirculated,
I would say excellent condition,
thanks

It doesn't match any yellows I have in my paulson set. Thought it might be a new color

The closest color is Paulson Mustard.

I thought the CdM $5 chips were mustard (plus a few other $1000 fantasy set chips). These don't look anything like that.....

You're right, the Casino de Mexico $5s and many other older fantasy $1000s are mustard. The Garden City chips don't exactly match any paulson color, they are darker and maybe yellower than mustard (plus a little bit of brass flakes). But I'd call this color closer to mustard than any other paulson color.
