Which US hundred dollar note would you choose as a basis for a $100 cash plaque?

So, if you were going to design a plaque for hundos based on the US hundred dollar note, which would you base it on?

Interesting. The current note is winning my a small margin...

The interesting part is that all five voters for the current note appear to have commented on why, but none of the voters for the older note have commented.

Current . . . older US banknotes are the epitome of boring. Newer versions have actual colour, which is good for a plaque, and they usually have a better portrait of the subject on the note. Not a fan of the inkwell, though. Lose that.

Current, but good luck with the holographic strip ;)

Exact copy isn't really an option - the aspect ratio is different on plaques, so it needs to be less wide. Also, I may use a plaque with beveled corners, so there's a different kind of border. But the art would borrow heavily.

Imagine most of the art on the plaque lifted directly off the bill... if it's the modern note, I will probably lose the strip and inkwell entirely, and I don't need the white space for the watermark. I'll let all the elements collapse to the left and have a designer jigger the elements around until they fit well on a plaque. I'd want to keep the color gradient across the bill, and the big ol' Franklin head.

But I'd give the designer a fairly large amount of leeway.

I made a "tribute" 2 dollar note a while back. Notice the subtle changes like "This note is NOT legal tender" "Casino Note" "No Cash Value"

I never had any made but if I had I planned to make a few other little changes.

Why not get dressed up and use a b&w image of yourself on the plaque?

You coukd even do the same with another famiky member on the other side.

I think tgat would be 'in theme' with the note whilst having it personalized

I'm not so much with the vanity - but I'd consider using a photo of my old dog.
