Hey everyone!

I was told about this forum by Dave (CDNBeerLover) so I came over and registered. I'm a recent chip addict. Just bought my first set of tourney chips (700 Milano's).

Currently now in the market for a small denomination cash game set. I've gotten a bunch of different samples and I'm trying to narrow it down.

Also doing lots of research about building my own poker table pretty soon :). I'm looking forward to being engaged with another great community!

Dan

Ps if anyone has a poker game in MN let me know, I'm always up for meeting new people and playing some poker!

Welcome Dan. It's an addiction for sure!

In additional to what Dave recommended about poker tables, check out Diamond Poker Tables too. He makes a neat 2 in 1 model for people like me who can't make up their mind or want to change it up a bit in regards to style. :)

My bad...I haven't looked into tables for a while. Nice catch, Tommy.

Thanks for the welcome everybody!

Already emailed Tony :). He makes an amazing looking table!

Cool. Tony from DPT or Tony C.? Either Tony, you'll get a great table. :)

Cool. That is where I got my table. Right now I have a glass top on it and using it as a dining room table until the basement is finished. I talked the soon to be wife into letting me put away the actual dining room table so I didn't have to leave the poker table crated in the garage. LOL

I posted some pics here....

That is almost exactly what I want to build. I'm just trying to decide if I want drink holders in the rail or on the table. If I had the money believe me Tony would definitely be getting it lol.

My solution was this for the cup holders...no spills on the table!

They make small folding ones too.

Thats a valid point. If I put no cup holders on the table then there is definitely less of a chance that there will be spills on the table. Plus most of the time I feel like the drinks just get in the way.

ps. Did you see my response about the Yaks in the PGI thread?
