I play at a lot of poker sites, but I mostly play on poker sites that have regular freerolls. I'm currently playing on Juicy Stakes, Lock Poker, and Carbon Poker. I have a account on almost every online poker room though.

What poker sites do you currently play on?

I mostly play on Pokerstars, simply because they got the best MTT traffic and by far the best software.

I also regularly play on FullTilt, PartyPoker, 32red and several different Ipoker skins, such as Bet365 and Boylepoker.

Being quite the beginner to poker, I haven't actually put in too much real money into sites like PartyPoker and pkr.

Have you played for play money on any of those sites? You don't need to deposit to play real money poker either, they'res freerolls on the plenty of poker sites which is great for new players.

I have tried playing poker online but I did not find it much fun. The social interaction is a big part of the experience for me. Sitting at a computer playing just lacks any of the atmosphere of sitting at a table with friends (or strangers) playing a game. It might seem silly but playing online just felt a bit cold and impersonal.

This is exactly how I feel. It's not poker if I can't bluff a person, especially when 90% of the time it feels like the person on the other end of the "table" doesn't know how to play the game :\.

I like Pokerstars because it's the most popular. But I'm intending to move to Full Tilt Poker because I like it better.

I use to play on Poker Stars as well until they stopped doing payouts to US players. I've been checking out Carbon Poker after seeing it on a few posts here, enjoying it pretty well so far. I also used to play on bodog, but they were cutting a lot of US accounts and payments last I heard.

+1. For our games, the social aspect is as important as the game. I've tried Pokerstars, but just find it a bit intimidating. I much prefer playing live.

Online games are much different than live games, much harder in my opinion. I play on a few sites that allow US players but the sites are nothing like Pokerstars before the US Department of Justice gave them the boot. It takes a lot of work to get money on these sites nowadays which keeps the recreational players away. Most of the games online available to US players these days are pretty much a bunch of guys playing the same strategy just putting bad beats on each other. I have money on Carbon, Black Chip, and Lock. I wouldn't advise anybody deposit money on Lock though. They are another train wreck waiting to happen.

I play poker stars occasionally, It's probably a good thing my credit card company doesn't allow for online gambling, Im never usually up $ when it comes to online.
And im not too interested in signing up for a 3rd party bank just to put some cash into online poker. If I do play I purchase a prepaid visa from the corner store. Wish they would take paypal.

I play Full Tilt only since I became addicted to the Rush Poker. Don't play regular tournaments much since discovering rush, and completely abandoned cash game as it doesn't have a tourney thrill for me. In rush poker you don't wait after folding - you are tossed to another table with a brand new hand! Of course if you fold too much and play very tight, you may get eaten by blinds.

One of the best things of playing Rush is that you are always in action. If the hand is crap just toss it and jump on another table. Still if you play 8+ conventional tournaments you will probably get more hands per hour still, but it isn't as fun and feels more like work instead.

I played on Brovada, but not anymore. I cashed out for like $175. About 2 days after the check was mailed, I got an email saying not to cash it and that it would not clear. The funds were returned to my poker acct. Just trying to get my money out and be done with them.

I lost some money on FT and/or PS years ago--I can't remember which any more. Waiting for it to be legalized in FL (fat chance) or until I move out of this state, which might be very soon.

I used to play on sportingbet way back in the day. Really liked the software. Been playing on pokerstars for the last few years, though. Not a big fan. I'm not exactly sure when players are good or just goofing around for fun (I guess mostly because I can't see them). Much prefer live games but it's tough to get to a casino.

I lose most my money on PS. Been known to put a self exclusion on me now and then lol.. i hate online poker. I play so different there than in person.

I have the same problem. Don't know what it is, but I have no discipline online. My ROI on online vs live is Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde

Being in the U.S. sucks for online. I play at WSOP.com when I'm in Nevada a couple times a year, but only for 15-20 minutes at a time. I think I've got $20 on there that I just let sit between trips.

I also occasionally play on Seals With Clubs, but I win/lose more money with the swings in the price of bitcoin between sessions than I do playing on the site.

I'm in NJ, so I guess I'm lucky. I play WSOP, Party Poker, and Borgata. I don't trust that there is no collusion going on, it's too easy to do, so I only play Free rolls and micro stakes. I figure there's not enough money to go thru the trouble of cheating. Up about 1600% on my initial $25 in all 3 sites. It's the most fun you can have for pennies, literally.

Micros def require a big adjustment in your play. You have to expect that people will call with 5 J on a 3 bet just because they are suited. Crazy because sometimes they hit, but pays off in the long run.
