Hero is nearing the end of a livestream (which wasn't "live", it will air with commentators chiming in on Jan 5th). Game is 1/2 PLO with $5 bring-in and buyins of 200-1K with match the stack available

Hero bought in for 1K and has around 2.5K to start the hand and is having a winning session on stream

EP is short stacked and raises to $15

Hero is in the CO holding AAQ8 with one suit and pots to $50

SB calls
BB calls
EP calls

Pot: $200

Flop AK5 rainbow

Checked to Hero who bets pot of $200

SB calls (only lady at the table, she's been playing a bit loosey-goosey all night and is one of the weaker players)

POT: $600

Turn 7 (can't recall if it brings in a club flush draw or completes rainbow board)
She checks

Hero once again bets pot of $600

She once again calls $600 (she has hero covered)

River offsuit Ten

She snap jams all-in (or all-in effective, Hero has around 1600-1700 remaining in his stack)

Hero ???????

It would be nice to know the suits of the cards, but I get it, it’s not that easy to remember these all the time. Especially if this was your first livestream.

In my mind it feels like there are too many bad outcomes to call. If she is loosey-goosey it would not surprise me at all if she had a hand that completes the strait with a smaller trips which kept her in until the river.

QQJ9 or QJ88

I am reluctantly folding.

I just don't see what gets there besides JQ. Sigh call.

Well the flop is AK5 rainbow, she cold-calls my pot-sized bet OOP after I raised preflop.

Then on a blank turn of a 7, she again check-calls my $600 pot-sized bet OOP.

Since I have two Aces in my hand, what hand(s) do you put her on that play like this?

FWIW the suits in this hand I believe were immaterial. Remember that I have a Queen blocker to the nuts in this spot as well. But we have to wonder, what hand(s) is she check-calling two pot sized bets OOP with after I raised preflop and then it comes AK57?

I think I'm folding this river. Without a flush draw on the board this 10 fills pretty much the only draw she can have which is TJQ in her hand. Don't see why she'd shove this river for value with like a lower set, especially considering how you are representing AAxx pretty hard.

Could of course be a crazy bluff, but I just don't see her having any reasonable bluffs here that make any sense. What could that be? There's no missed draws out there. Or I guess she could be insane and turn like a 55QQ into a bluff, blocking the straight and realising you have AAxx. Lol, would not recommend that play though. I doubt she would call flop and turn with just a gutter and turn that in to a bluff with blockers, like QQAJ type hand.

I'm folding.

My thought process was that if she had flopped something like top two pair (which is hard to do with only once ace in the deck) or a set of Kings or 5's I'm likely getting played back at on the flop or turn

The only draws on the flop are to broadway and the wheel, and I don't believe the flush draw was a concern on the turn but maybe it was, can't recall exactly.

Would you describe this player as the maniac at the table? Or someone that does not play PLO regularly?

I had seen her call off earlier in the session with something like 55xx after the board was something like XX8..........8.....8 and she was up against Aces, but she called it off, she wasn't leading the charge. She seemed pretty "stationey" to me, rather than hyper aggro

It would be player specific if I logged a few hours worth of play with them. Does she continue with a wrap like 6 7 8 10 on the turn that now rivered two pair? Calling the flop with that with only one helpful card is really loose.

Calling down two streets of pot size beta for value with QJ in her hand is really thin. Did she have some kind of combo Broadway draw like A Q J 10 hoping to realize equity on the turn or river? That's really the only hand I'm afraid of her having here, but wouldn't she have repotted that preflop if she's as wild as you're saying?

For the reasons above, curiosity in the absence of any other read on this villain would get the call out of me.

Posted above but I had seen her on an XX8...8....8 board call a big river bet holding xx55 so she seemed more like a calling station than a hyper aggro type in my time with her.

You're right she could go a bit crazy with 234x, but getting in there with that to begin with would be pretty loose preflop.

I'm still folding

I think the proper action is call, but it would be a difficult decision. Based on your read, if you're wrong, its not like the chips are locked up. You could get action on another buy in

The stream is almost over at this point, maybe 20 minutes left

Gonna wait for other responses, may not reveal my decision to not spoil the livestream

If she has KKxx here you don't think she raises pre or on the flop or turn?
Cant tell for sure KKJQ is worth rasing for sure, that is why KK/rag/rag is more likely...
That is problematic when facing random players at casino table.
I used to play PLO in rotating band of about 20 players... Much easier to assess situation

As a professional, I would think you would have other offsets that might come into play, in the words of Rosie Perez aka Gloria, 'Sometimes when you win, you really lose'

What's important to you? Not being bluffed on the stream, the perfect action (fold / call) for this hand, the perfect +EV action longterm, the win, the upstuck?

Could be worse, you could have jam'd with a bluff and been beaten by a J4o ;)

What's important to me is making good decisions. So I'm trying to assess this one in the moment and make either the hero call or the hero laydown based on my read of the situation.

From your painted perspective she isn't good enough to bluff a scare card on the river, and happy to call off chips from behind to get lucky all night long or lose with the 10th nut hand. I'm not sure how you could find a call here...

I'm hope I'm wrong, I hope you tell me you stopped and picked up a hooker and a cat on the way home for the Misses.
