So,
About 3 months ago I got myself a 3D printer and it quickly turned into my second highly addictive hobby. I’ve been printing random shit non-stop since then.

As my skills developed I turned my efforts to modeling and printing things for my poker hobby.

I thought I’d start a thread for me an others to share 3D printed stuff for the poker room.

I know there’s another thread on the form for general 3D printing. I’m interested in learning what others are printing specifically related to Poker.

I’ve designed and printed several poker related thing to date. Some useful, some not so much.

I’ll start off with one of my latest creations (more to come later)

I sized them to perfectly fit my chip drawer. I use one for 50’s and up and the other for 20’s and below. Yes, it takes up more room than the binder clip they replaced, but they are way more fun!

Very nice. So general question - how long before you can 3d print full colour poker chips with edge spots?
Ha! I can’t say I didn’t consider it. But even a dice chip would be of higher quality than anything I could print.

We need a device for hole cards. One that holds them and you can pick it up or pick up and edge to see what your cards are. But in a way that it doesn’t damage the cards.
I played with a nearly blind guy that had a device like a blackjack peek. He would slide his cards in it when dealt, like a BJ dealer dies and then look into an eyepiece like a microscope and he could see his hole card corners.

@Al Azouri saying that this becomes your second hobby must be an understatement. These 3D printers consume so much of my time! But they are fun!

I've got a few galleries of things that I've printed. Most of it centers around dealer button and chip storage along with some artwork:

Cool stuff. Thanks for sharing. I did not come across this in my searches.

Here’s another one. Nothing fancy, but very functional.
That looks to be pretty close to 200 mm, did you have any issues printing it without the edges warping?

I have two different printers, and I can definitely say that the one that has the glass bed inside of the enclosure is the only one that can print large flat items without the edges warping.

The one that has the magnetic PEI plate definitely struggles with longer items that have straight edges and sharper corners.

It’s 160mm. No warping issues with this one but I suspect it’s because of the rounded corners. I print on glass and usually use a brim when printing sharp edges.

Wood filament?! That's so cool!
I'm like a kid in a candy store with this stuff...i need to score a 3D printer.
Maybe a letter to the North Pole is in order. :ROFLMAO:

Here’s another one for y’all. (I know I’m from Jersey but I can say y’all can’t I?)

This one is for this of you who have dual size cup holders. I like my cup holders but one of the issues with them is that they can swallow up shorter glasses if they are too narrow at the bottom.

It’s hard to see in the picture, but that’s a clear plastic tumbler in the cup holder. You can see that there is no way to grab the edges.

What’s nice is that they double as a separate coaster and a seat marker.

I like that - and will be stealing the idea :)

I have jumbo cup holders and while they work fine for cans and many glasses it's coffee mugs that were foxing me. I've been searching for mugs with small handles near the top or ones without handles at all .. but will now think about just lessening the depth of the cup holders where needed.

Enclosures for leds as well which could be fun.
