Pasi, I cannot tell you how great of a job you, J5, and everyone else involved did on these. I was on the fence about these when the GB happened after getting burned three times by BCC in the past. PAZ, thank you for giving these a good home. You have my word they will share tourney time w/ my Three Putt Poker set :)

Here are a few pics. I spent some quality time with them on Sunday afternoon during the afternoon football game and gave the edges a nice oiling. Mrs. Links rolled her eyes at first but said she could really tell the difference before and after. Her favorite is the T500 and I agree. Enjoy :)

I think the mark of how great this set is is the fact that I legitimately can't come up with a favorite

Awesome Josh. I know they found a perfect home. Enjoy. And thank you for the compliments. These chips could not have been made without the help of our great chipper community.

Those look great. Can't wait to see them in a splashed pot....

How are these

Some of you may remember my Las Vegas Strip puzzle quest as I was recovering from sugery/radiation last year. I finally got around to framing it and getting it on the wall - you can see it in the background of this first. I think it turned out great :)

You should oil the faces on a sample set, then compare those chips to the rest of the set. I think you will be compelled to then oil the rest of them, because they look SO MUCH better when the colors darken a bit and really pop....

T1000 and T100 benefit the least, but those T500 chips go through a remarkable transition. The T5000 also look much better, and oiling helps minimize the dry/crazed look on most T25 chips. Best four hours I ever spent, oiling mine....

It's already on the agenda for my long weekend. The T25s in my set appear to need it the most but agree about the other denoms needing it too!

great looking set links,
thanks for sharing,

forgive my question,
could a new gb happen some day or is the Blue Chip Company closed ?

Whoaaa...you know how to handle a camera Josh. Meloves myself some blueberries and pineapples. Awesome.

Unfortunately can't never happen. GPI (Paulson) bought BCC some times ago.

Thanks Pasi.

So...Poppin my cherry, going from lurker to poster!
I am Gear's wife, and I like to know what he is talking about half the time, so I spelunk in here to keep up.

I took some pictures of his set testing out my new tabletop light box...

Much better! Check Wifey's pics for proof of what a little oil can do for the others.

Whenever I see pics like these, I get even more sad I didn't get in on these. I had the same early reservations you did about BCC and getting burned.

Glad you picked these uu. I'll actually have a chance to see them in person (and regret not getting in on the buy) the next time I'm in the neighborhood.

Congrats again on picking up these chips, Josh! They are great chips and Wifey's pictures are simply amazing.

So happy for you !
I was disappointed after giving you false hopes...

But all is good now and chips/pics are amazing !!

Yes, all is good now. And I hope you know that I have no ill will toward you and never was upset about the false hopes!!!!

Ah, those look sweet. You need some high-denomination chips to cap off that splashed pot. I do have a few extra T25K, T100K, and T250K chips....
