I'm very interested in buying custom poker chips to sell in my online poker store that I'll be launching soon. I want my logo to be branded on these poker chips.

Where is the best place to buy custom poker chips? Do they offer discounts on bulk orders?

If you are talking about compression molded clay chips, the only places to go are BCC or ASM(poker chips online). BCC are notorious for terrible customer service and quality control, at least for non casino orders. BCC also won't make custom orders of smaller than 5000 chips but the color options and edge spot combos are some of the best out there IMHO.

ASM will offer more molds to non casino orders than BCC will and they are renown for excellent customer service. A minimum order for them is only 300 chips and they will do re-orders at a minimum of 100 chips. ASM chips are also top notch in quality. If your order has issues after being received, they will fix it with a minimum of fuss.

Before you go ordering from either, check to make sure that each company won't take issue with you reselling chips on molds that they own.

If you are talking about selling China Clay or plastic chips then you can just Google for some manufacturer info.

I forgot to add; for ceramic chips you can go to Sun Fly or Joe at Palm Gaming International. PGI has recently acquired all assets from Chipco which were regarded by most as having the best ceramic chips in the industry.

Just checked out the Palm Gaming site. Anyone have any experience with ceramic chips? Thought that might be kind of interesting for the next set.

You should email them about getting a sample set. Some people love them, some hate them but it's all about how they feel for me. It's nice to have the entire chip area for graphics but I prefer the feel of compression clay chips myself. There is also the problem of getting non-aligned edgespots unless you pay a fee.

That being said I do own some ceramics and will likely get a custom set one day.

I want to buy all sorts of poker chips(clay, ceramic, plastic), and sell them in my online store. ASM is better then BCC then to buy custom chips?

I'd prefer to buy chips all at the same site, but if I have to order from separate sites for better deals then I'll do that.

With ASM the quality and service is guaranteed. With BCC it's a total crapshoot but when they they do things properly the chips are some of the most gorgeous out there IMO. If BCC still serviced the custom home market I would design a full set(cash denoms through tournament denoms) in a heartbeat. Being able. to afford such a set is another matter.

I think it would be hard to resale custom clay chips in online store. They are already quite pricey and there are not many volume discounts. Best of luck on your endeavor.

But a site like this would eliminate the problem of people far from Vegas finding quality chips. I'd buy from you.

Thanks for the information. I'm going to do a bit more research before ordering some chips, but ASM seems like the site to purchase them from.

BCC is now no longer. Bought by Paulson.

ASM is the only real custom clay left.

But PGI has ceramics.

I figured that's what gave it away! Yes, they will be. Stay tuned too because "we" are going to be releasing a new series for the holidays and you will have a chance to vote on which design is made!

Welcome to the PCF! I'm excited to see what you guys are bringing back to the chip market. Please keep us informed. If you're interested in a vendor section here, just let me know. I don't charge any fees. Just like to see awesome deals for the members. Thanks!

That sounds great, thanks! Actually, right now, if you like us on facebook (www.facebook.com/gameonchipcompany) you have a chance to win a 500 piece custom set of our 39 mm ceramic chips! Once we get 500 likes the winner will be picked!

Hi new here and have a question, I had been mulling over getting some custom chips done for ages now. Homepokerchip use to get pretty good write-ups. But they're not around any more, or at least their web site isn't. I don't need a stupid amount of chips, but I do want quality. I signed up here today thinking I could find some reviews or feeback on chiplab.com. But when I searched for it, not a single thread came up. Googling them the only stuff I was finding as far as reviews were ones customers left on the actual site. While something, it's not what I'd consider a super accurate indication of the actual quality. What does worry me is not a single mention on here.

I like that black one a lot, but I'm assuming it was a custom one for a client. Really sign design so I could come up with something similar on my one pretty easy. What I'm intrigued by being able to order as low as 50 custom chips with no art fees or any extra $$$. But I would like some feedback if anyone has any about this company! I'll need more than 50, but I was thinking of ordering 50 and once I got them going from there when I see how they look. I'm 99% leaning towards ceramic.

You can't go wrong with Palm or GOCC for ceramics. Find out the turnaround time for samples and for the order from both and go from there.

I would agree with Tommy.

I'm not familiar with Chiplab, but from their "About" page, they ship the design to the largest chips manufacturers in North America. I would think that would be PGI, GOCC, Sunfly, and probably some others (?), depending on the style chosen. For ceramics, there are also other vendors (ABC Gifts and Awards, Apollon (Sunfly), BR Pro Poker (Sunfly?), Old West Poker Supplies (Sunfly?), etc) that you may want to consider.

For any custom chips, I would recommend getting samples from the vendors you are considering, and go with the chips you like. I have a chipset from PGI, and samples from GOCC, ABC, Apollon, and BR Pro Poker, and not all ceramics feel the same.

I have to admit that I'm not a fan of Sunfly chips, and have a definite preference for "Chipco"-style chips (PGI Royal Yaks, GOCC). However, I also really like the samples I have from ABC.
