This is going to be one of two hands I found interesting from a short session I played. I am playing 2 tables of 10NL blitz. I finished this 300 hand session up 235bb.

10NL Blitz on ACR
Not enough hands on villain (22) for HUD to matter. And like I always, I'm not using it anyway. ;)

LJ folds.
HJ (112.8bb) raises to 2.5bb.
CO folds.
Button folds.
SB folds.
BB (HERO 256BB) raises to 10.5bb with :kd::ks:.
HJ calls.

Pot: 21.5bb
Eff Stack: 102.3
Flop: :8s::4h::4s:

Check/call...if he has a small flush not 67 he may get tricky and check it back and give you a free card…you have draws to 2nf and a boat…kk may still be good….he may bet 1010 JJ or QQ

There's a ton of hands that could have opened and called the flop, and only a few of them have two spades, a 67, an 85, 88, 55, or a 4. You're ahead. Try to get his money in the pot. Bet small so he doesn't fold his overcards. Fold if he raises; he might be bluffing, but probably not.

Would love to hear your thoughts about my thoughts.

Check and call.

If he just has overcards and checks he would be folding to any bet and so you weren't getting anything from him anyway. If he has an overpair he'll bet it, but will fold if you check-raise so you might as well just call rather than risking him jamming your check-raise with 88 or 55. If you check and he jams, he could have 88 or 55 but it's still more likely he just has an overpair, so call.

Crazy Eddie is prob right but I bet small...12BB trying to get called by 99/1010/JJ......A jam would still almost be 2x pot...I only see that with A4s....then I fold

This is why I bet smaller...you are getting 5 to 1....call and pay it off

I'll assume he's a bad player, isn't giving your 3-bet any credence, and thinks that his pair is good and has been slow-playing.

He might have you beat, but he probably doesn't.

Jam. He might call.

It’s what I was thinking too. No way I can fold and if he has been slowplaying toppair or like TT, he’s not folding to a shove. And if he’s got quads, oh well

Well we are at least calling. Are we not jamming here? Your hand is under-repped and you have the third nuts I think.
I think he 4! with AA here so if we take that out of range we have 1 combo of A4s?
I dont think he has the flush but there are plenty of worse PPs that raise here like QQ/JJ.
I mean if you are scared of Aces just call but if you think a 4! pre is likely with AA then jam IMHO.

Fifth nuts, I think. We've got 4s full of kings, which is beaten by quad 4s, 8s full, 5s full, and 4s full of aces.

Do you think you get called by worse with a 3 bet river?

I feel like the turn was a check to avoid getting check raised. I can still call the turn easily with the :ks: in my hand. On the river, I targeted smaller overpairs with my 1/2 pot bet. When he min raised, I just thought it through. He shouldn't have AA almost ever as that raises pre or on flop I think. 88 and 55 bet turn a lot I think to set up a river bet. And while :ac::4c: is possible, I think it's not always called pre and it's obviously only 1 combo. So a jam for value seemed like the play.
