Hello,

I need coming up with ideas for custom ceramic poker chips with Las Vegas raider theme.
I was to get the following:
240- 25 cents black chip
160- $1 white chip
100- $5 silver/grey chip
I want Gomez Poker Room on the side as well as rounded in the center. I want a raider image centered.
I’m going to order them from brpropoker
Attached is a picture of my poker table to give you an idea.

I don't think having almost half your chip in the lowest denomination is the brightest idea

Your workhorse chips are going to be $1 and maybe $5 in some game that played bigger than the stake, I will have much lesser 25c and more $1 in the breakdown

I felt like you know roughly what you want given that you are giving instructions on what you want, it may be a better idea to make some basic design mock up and people can add on from there.

Yeah that sounds like a good idea but we are always running out of 25 cents. Currently I only have 200 25¢ but then again I only have 100 $1s.

Yeah true; you know what website or app I could use to make a mock up design for free?

I would probably put some differentiating edge spots too to make sure the chips stand out from each other since it will be a very monochrome set

To get started 500 chips is a good start, you can do addons later. I would make some minor changes
200 25c
200 1
100 5

Start with the base chip colors - I would want high contrast colors with the setup you have.

What colors do you DIS like?

25c
Orange, Yellow, Pink

1
Blue, White

5
Yellow, Orange

20 (you'll get here =-D)
Charcoal, Black

My picks would be:
Orange / Pink (25c)
Blue (1)
Yellow(5)
Charcoal (20)

Stepping in to give out some more color ideas!

Lavender 25c
White $1
Orange $5
Dark Gray/Charcoal $20
(better to have it, and not need it)

Kinda based that combo for a darker room.

The purple might help with the “monotony” of having a white/gray/black line-up. While the $5 (orange, bright and bold when someone tosses it) seems to be a bigger chip for the table!

All black chips look scary or very elegant, depending on your current stack at the table lol - the charcoal opens it up with a more “friendly” feel.

A breakdown for something like that, working at full potential, and wanting a 500ish set:

100 x .25 (order extras in case you lose a couple)
200x $1
160x $5
40x $20

If you decide to go down the path of a 600 set:

100x .25
220x $1
220x $5
60x $20

You will use max of 3 25c at preflop flop turn river, that a total of only 12 max per hand even thou you in reality only need 3 per hand as you can get change from the pot

If 200 25c is not enough, the reason are likely you have at least 1 or more hoarder in your game that hoarding the fracs and not because you needing even more 25c

100 25c is more than enough for the cash game, anything more is not required

@MatthewTreeTree breakdown is good and suitable for your game as it seem like your game don’t need a huge bank to cover

If your game play more aggressive; A standard 500 chipset breakdown will be recommended
25c x 100
$1 x 200
$5 x 100
$25 x 100 or $25 x 80 $100 x 20

There are breakdown threads on the forums I would encourage you to read. That said, 500 is a break point for pricing but you get the same pricing on 600, with a table like that you don't want to short on chips man, come on another 100 chips isn't going to break the bank!

Please kick the clowns asses today. And great looking room. If I did a Bengals room all the orange would be garish.
Thanks bro!

Yeah honestly wouldn’t mind getting 600 at all but only 500 fit in my drawer

Thanks for the input. I like using $20 plaques to give it a more scary feel when someone throws them in.

Easy fix, sell off that drum set and check out this forum

One thing though: the "Gomez" in your logo is barely touching the black border of the shield. Not sure how BRPoker will print out, but still I would recommend shrinking that text to give it more space from the upper border.

I would say shrink the whole shield logo too but you may lose the white "Poker Room" text unless you embolden it more.

That's a lot of black white and silver. Any issues so far putting them in play?
Two instances happened. One guy called .25¢ but threw in a 5$ chip lol. Second instance is putting all the chips away I mixed up a white and black. Definitely getting used to it but love the colors.
