Does anyone have any spare bridge size tuck boxes (preferably unbranded/plain)*? Or plastic deck boxes (preferably clear/frosted, not opaque)* that will fit in the deck slots of a chip case? Single deck capacity, or doubles if the decks aren't side-by-side.

Right now I just have a cheap aluminum case, but I've been thinking of getting the Versa Deluxe 500 chip case that seems to be well received here. Even if I upgrade to that, it still has similar-sized card slots as in the cheap cases. It's not a big deal, but it'd be easier to keep my good plastic cards in the chip case, rather than having to carry a separate plastic box w/a 2-deck setup.

I have plenty of old Bicycle tuck boxes in poker size, so I'm using those for my bridge size cards, but obviously they rattle around. I know I can order plain bridge size tuck boxes for only $0.55 each, and clear plastic cases are only $0.90 each (though I don't know if they fit in the card slots in cases--has anyone tried?), but for ~$3 worth of items if I order multiples, I'd be paying 3x on top for shipping.

If anyone has any to sell/ship at a decent rate, let me know. I'm hoping someone ordered some bridge size tuck boxes in bulk and have spares that are still flattened and could be mailed in an envelope for just first-class postage. Thanks in advance!

*Beggars can't be choosers, so I'll definitely consider other options, but right now I have Copags and I'll be getting some Fournier WSOP 2012 decks, so my mild OCD would prefer not to have a branded box that doesn't match the the cards inside. ;-)

Make your own!
  • Go here: https://www.templatemaker.nl/en/cardbox/
  • Leave the defaults, or change them if you feel like it
  • Click "Create" to download a PDF that conforms to your specifications
  • Print the PDF on cardstock
  • Cut along the red lines with a craft knife or a good pair of scissors
  • Fold along the dotted blue lines
  • Use a bit of glue on the side flap and the bottom flap to hold it all together
  • boom, done
Alternately, use http://tuckbox.ferociousweb.com/ to make a box with custom artwork instead of plain white! Make some boxes to match your Copags or Fourniers or chips or pets!

Thanks @CrazyEddie, t is awesome! I have some new craft projects for my younger daughter now! ;-)

If anyone can confirm if these or other bridge size clear/frosted plastic deck boxes/cases will fit in the card slots in the typical aluminum chip case, please let me know!
