So I'm looking at YAT and .. not sure on what materials I want. I plan to have a shuffler but I want to be able to shuffle with easy, however I want to have supporting padding to support chips stacked 40 high.

What would be the best option or what is the cons on this ?

Looks like there is only one option on the rail padding. Should I put a headliner on the rail and then vinyl or just vinyl, what would be the pros for adding a headliner first?

Thanks!

6mm or 1/4” for the playing surface
25mm or 1” for the rail

that’s what I use.
No issues stacking the chips.

There is a really good post detailing the difference in playing surfaces. I think if you search playing surface comparisons it should show up.

I have 1/4 neoprene on mine and haven't had any complaints.
