First I want to give a big shout out to @Zmasterben @matin24 and @Sea Vulture for helping me complete my set. And special thanks to @Sea Vulture for the dealer buttons and GV playing cards he threw in as a gift.
Although I’m waiting on 1 more rack of $1’s this set is pretty much good to go! I know that many don’t like the photo inlays on these but for some reason I find them to be attractive. Anyways, it’s been a blast hunting for chips to make this a really nice set.
Now to clean some of the $1’s and $5’s to get them looking fresh (the rest are brand new). Then try and pick up a few $1,000 chips.
And then…. On to building my tournament set…

oh, and lastly getting these babies on some felt!

Uh-oh -- back on my soapbox! :cool

You know, if you do the multiply/divide thing, you can play your game as 1/2 and not need any fracs at all. That would get a lot more of those delicious $5s and $25s into play!
this is true! But if this forum has taught me anything it's that if there is ANY excuse to get more chips you should!

I am happy to see you doing well on your GV adventure...but now I have a Nemesis who will surely challenge me to respond quicker to sales ads! I am sorry that I must now destroy you! (Ok...not really, but I sounded badass for a moment....lol!)

Let’s see your set! I just got in another rack of mint $1’s so I just need 1 $25 chip and 4 $100 chips to have a 1,000 chip set which I think I’m good with (for now)

It’s really odd - this forum seems to be quite against it yet it doesn’t seem like such a big deal

Better late than never! I know the hot stamp .25s are from Elgin and the 500s are primary, but I take what I can get! Lol!!! If I count the shuffle barrel and the misfits, I think I am at 2432 in total. Should be 3000+ but UPS lost a box containing 600+ high denoms...oh...and I sold a rack of 25s...lol!

Sweet! I have 5 sets of cards tucked away in my playing card collection too. I don't know why I love these chips so much! We should create a support group...lol!

We better be careful...someone is going to see that there are a few GV collectors and we are going to drive the price up on ourselves! Lol!

amazing set I love it! Only thing is you have too many $100’s. Yes definitely too many. I’ll help you with that problem though don’t worry!

I like the .35’s. I’m having some Gear labels made on some blank THC blues for a .25 chip. I know they’re not RHC but they were already milled so I figured why not.

I know, a terrible curse...but mine to carry...
