Hey all,

FNG here who's recently caught the bug. I'm just blown away by some of the custom sets in the ChipDB and the HOF (a few favorites being The Rainier Room and Pillage and Plunder).

I'm tinkering around with designing my own CPC (most likely) customs. Plenty of time to tweak and perfect as it'll take a while to raise the funds.

I've been playing cards since middle school, mostly home games... and sometimes I even win!

Glad to have found this place - great site, amazing resources, seemingly friendly crew.

Welcome! Always great to see new members from Indiana. Where in NWI are you located?

Welcome fellow Hoosier (does it count if I went to IU for four years?)!

CPC customs are great, but the website's colors are not a great measure of the actual colors, so make sure to get samples before doing anything drastic.

Thank you for the tip. I've been lurking here for a few weeks and saw where a set of color samples as well as molds may be available for "rent" and that members often resell their samples after they're done using them - I'll be keeping my eye out for sure.

I'll likely be saving for about a year before pulling the trigger. Plenty of time to refine designs, which is good.

Welcome aboard!

Thank you!!

Not sure why it didn't occur to me for my OP but here's my paltry singles collection. Most of these were harvested on trips to Vegas in the 90s/early 2000s:
