Hosting a first-ever Heads-Up tourney tomorrow for our group. I'm planning on 10 min levels with a 12k starting stack (60BB). Thoughts on the structure?

Blinds
100-200
200-400
300-600
400-800
500-1000
==Break==
600-1200
800-1600
1000-2000
1500-3000
2000-4000

I was looking for a similar setup and wind up here. Not many threads on heads-up I guess.
Did you try it? Any thoughts?

I would think starting at 60BB's, you wouldnt need to raise the blinds very often.

Here are the blinds for WPT tournament....it's interesting they use 11 hands as the level changes. If I were to run one, this is what I would use to start and then adjust from there. Of course, scale the blinds to match your set.

I had these saved from another thread but can’t remember which one. Maybe from @BGinGA

Each designed to finish in ~1 hour with one rack of chips 40/40/20 from the looks of it.

Thanks for the input. It went pretty well, the matchups were done faster than I thought they’d be. Most being over by 300-600. I think I’ll play around with it before next year. 60bb was good, but maybe 20 min on the blinds.
